Gratsu (and more) one shots

Lucy woke up, sat up, and stretched her arms. This day was gonna be special, she felt it.

She got out of bed, her hair was in a lazy bun, she was ready for some breakfast tea

- and screamed when she saw Natsu sitting on her couch.

"NATSU WHY ARE YOU HERE?"

Natsu looked up, grinning.

"Hola, beautiful."

Lucy looked at him. She picked up a chair. "Get out or I'll throw it at you."

"Whoa Luce, take it easy," Natsu said and stood up from the couch. He did a swirly dance motion and moved towards Lucy, dancing (badly). "I was just gonna ask you to prom."

Lucy put down the chair but didn't take her glaring eyes off Natsu. "Our school doesn't even have a prom."

"Well, it has now, at least kinda. There's this guy, don't remember the name, who's throwing something, it's next week. You wanna go or nah?"

Lucy was sweating. What was she supposed to say? She tried to stay calm as she looked for words.

"I uh, maybe, let me think about it." She tried to move out of the room, but Natsu wasn't taking any of that bullshit.

"Give me an answer now."

Lucy sighed in defeat. He knew too, it was obvious she'd say yes.

Since the first day at the café, the day they met, she had found him interesting. His looks, personality, everything about him was just so open yet so mysterious.

After a few months, she was falling for him. Not good. She tried to make it stop but those eyes and those abs just made it so hard. Gawd.

"Yes or no?'

Lucy snapped out of her thoughts and looked at Natsu. She hugged him tightly, and whispered yes into his ear. Natsu hugged her back, and she could smell the scent of Christmas in his hair, and that gave her courage enough to kiss him.

Lucy noticed directly that Natsu had no experience with kissing. She guided him through it, slow and steady.

When they pulled away, of course Natsu was the one to break the silence. Sadly.

"I knew you'd say yes."

It's hard writing about a couple you don't ship. So it sucks.
