They were all frozen. Nobody spoke for, what felt like, an eternity. Finally Mak choked out, "Are you going to say something or..."

He quickly sat down, fully comprehending what was happening. "How?" His voice was tired sounding.

She rolled her eyes and giggle with a hint of sarcasm. "You know, the usual," she paused to pick up a few rocks and throw them, "Me and my twin brother, Miles, your son, were kidnapped five months ago and taken to the Lab for experiments just like mom. They left your other son James, but took us because they don't know what his powers are yet since, he's only four." She smiled with more sarcasm. "Here's the best part though, they made us watch all of the tapes of you guys worrying about us. Every, single, day. They bugged our house but you guys don't know it. So, yeah that was pretty fun."

Mike quivered knowing that what she was saying was true and that his daughter was going through a lot of pain that he couldn't help with.

She continued, "So, Miles used one of his abilities to bring me here. From the year 2010."

He put his hand over his mouth, trying to hide his tears, but failing. He went over slowly to her, El following. She looked at him strangely, but, sweetly. They both put their arms around her like nothing was going to break them apart again.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Mike said. All of the sudden, they heard bikes. Multiple bikes. They quickly separated and all three of them wiped their tears away, but leaving the stains, which were clearly visible. When the rest of the party showed up, they all looked very worried.

"Where have you guys been?" Yelled Lucas.

Mike and El suddenly heard a voice in both their heads but, it wasn't theirs. Don't tell them. They heard Mak's voice tell them but, she didn't move her lips. When they looked back at their daughter who was standing behind them, El and Mike both received a demanding look.

"We found Mak." El said, smiling a bit.

Max replied with an attitude, "Well no shit!" "What does the twerp want?" She said, taking a step towards Mak.

Before she could get any closer, both Mike and El blocked Mackenzie from Max. Max looked shocked. They all decided to let it go and walk back to the Wheelers' house.

When they finally reached the basement door, Mak pulled Mike aside. "Hey dad?"

Mike was taken aback by this but replied, "Yeah?"

"Do you have any clothes I could borrow? These are still a little damp from yesterday."

He smiled and nodded his head. He came out with a dry set of clothes. The same clothes El first wore when she came here. She smiled and thanked him. She went to the bathroom to change but as soon as she was about to walk away he grabbed her hand, and realizing that she probably hadn't had a meal in months, and asked her "Do you want anything to eat?"

She smiled and nodded. "Do you have any eggos?"

Mike laughed and nodded. He went back to the couch where everyone was sitting. He looked over at his future wife and smiled knowing that she had also fallen in love with their daughter that wasn't even alive yet. He started to walk upstairs but, before he could, he heard Dustin's voice. "Where are you going?"

"Getting food" Mike replied. He gave El a look that she knew meant to go with him. The couple walked upstairs hand in hand. They were putting the waffles in the toaster when Mike saw El's eyes filling up with tears. He cupped her face and kissed her. He then hugged her as tightly as he could. He couldn't help his own tears from falling.

"Look on the bright side," he said to her reassuringly, "We have three kids and are married."

"Mike," She started, "What is 'Married'?"

Mike assumed Hopper or Mrs. Byers had told her. He never thought that he would have to. "Being married is like dating but you're hearts are officially connected forever." She smiled at that thought, but he knew what she was thinking. He knew he wanted to be with this girl for the rest of his life, and he knew that they were already getting married so, he decided to do the inevitable.

"If I were to marry you," He continued, "I would get down on one knee and give you a ring. Then I would ask you to marry me." He said smiling.

He suddenly got down on one knee. "Now, I might not have a ring or anything fancy but, I have eggos. Since we're too young to legally be married, I know that as soon as we graduate I'm marrying you El. So, since I don't want to wait that long to propose, I'm doing it now. Will you make me the literal happiest guy on earth and marry me El?"

She was in tears, but she still made out a shaky "yes" and hugged Mike as tight as she could. She pull him down to kiss him, only to noticed a 14 year old girl that watched the whole thing.

"I knew Miles got the dramatics from somewhere." She said laughing. She went over and hugged them both. Mike looked down at his daughter who, was pretty much the same age as them but, he didn't care. He felt like he had been her father for a thousand years. Yeah he was only (almost) fifteen but, stranger things happen every day. {Author's Note: See what I did there? Hehe sorry :| ...}

He gave her a quick kiss on her forehead and handed her the waffles. He laughed as she ate them in, what looked like, two bites. He decided to put more in the toaster so that she could have as much as she wanted. He giggled as she walked down the stairs stuffing waffles into her face. He looked over at his, now fiancée, and smiled at the way she was laughing at her daughter. She noticed this.

"What?" She asked

"Oh nothing." He said smirking at her, "She's just your mini-me. It's adorable." She rolled her eyes playfully.

They heard a commotion downstairs. Getting worried they ran down. That's when they both saw Mak. She was on the floor unconscious with blood coming out of her nose. Mike bent down to check if she was still breathing, but her breath was faint.

"No! No! No! No!" He shouted. They were all lucky his parents weren't home. He shook her, but there was no luck.

She stopped breathing.
