"Rain!" I heard from the other side of the wall. There wasn't even a knock.
"What?" I yelled back over the anime. I did my best not to smile at the sound of his voice.
"Are you coming to the party or not?"
I gasped and jumped up from my seat. He never told me when it was. It should have been an obvious guess from the music, but it never occurred to me. I quickly got up and went to my bed room. The flannel shirts and jeans were all over and none of them were party material. I quickly grabbed a pair of black shorts and a gray tank top to put under a red flannel shirt that I didn't plan on closing. That was the dressiest thing I had. I quickly put my hair down and pushed my glasses up. I didn't look good but it was as good as it got. As I was pulling on my shoes there was a knock on the door. I quickly opened the door to find the same dark haired green eyed boy I had been seeing since I first moved in.
"Wowza, you look great." he said smiling. I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever." I mumbled as I walked out.
"Almost like you actually want to go." I knew he was teasing but I couldn't help but smile.
