ALONE

ALONE- part 3

I woke up in the morning and immediately looked over at my desk.I remembered what i had read last night and i decided to go eat breakfast and see if i could find Jahseh.

I went downstairs and poured myself some cereal. I quickly ate it as i thought about where i would look for jahseh. I decided to start at the park, and if i didn't find him there i would look around the neighborhood next to the park.

When i finished my cereal, i washed the bowl and spoon and walked over to the door.

I pulled on my black adidas, put on my old black nike hoodie, and headed out the door.

~at the park~
When i got to the park, it was pretty much empty as usual. I walked into the park and headed over to the bench i was sitting at with Jahseh yesterday. He was walking around the bench. It seemed like he was looking for something....

"Hey!" he said. There was a hint of anger and frustration in his voice. "Did you take my book?"

'oh my god i forgot the book! i'm screwed' i thought.

"Did you!?" he said a little more frustrated.

"Uh....yeah i saw it sitting on the table after you left and i took it home so it wouldn't get stolen or dirty." i replied.

He sighed. "Well, where is it?" he asked.

"I..I forgot it at home..." i said.

""Fuck," he muttered under his breath.

"We can go get it right now if you want." i offered.

He thought this over for a few seconds before finally saying, "Fine, let's go."

~on the walk home~

We had been walking in dead silence for a few minutes.

I finally worked up the courage to say something.

"So your name's Jahseh?" i said.

"Yeah.." he replied. "What's yours?" he asked.

"Skylar." i said. "some people call me skye for short."

He raised his eyebrows but remained silent.

"What?" i asked him, laughing a little.

"Nothing," he answered. "It's a nice name."

"Thanks," i said. Blushing a little.

We didn't really talk the rest of the walk home. He would look over at me every once in a while, and i would look back at him and smile but he would just look away and pretend like nothing happened.

It stayed this was until we got to my house.
