Later in the evening, Mary (Jeshua's mother), James (his brother), Joseph (his cousin), and I brought Jeshua's lifeless and stiffened body to his tomb next to the crucifixion site. We prepared his body in the traditional Jewish way by washing and layering it with beautifully scented oils and then carefully wrapping it in white linens.

While we wrapped him, we reminisced about all the wonderful things Jeshua had taught us. I even heard a few new stories about Jeshua as a child that I had never heard before.

Mary and James were laughing at his precociousness and how smart he was. Joseph added a story where he walked into temple to find Jeshua talking excitedly to the rabbis who were trying to prepare for Sabbath. He followed them all around, just talking away. Other times he would talk to a rabbi or two and didn't seem to notice that they had fallen asleep.

As the others reminisced aloud, I closed my eyes, intending to commune with Mother, but memories of my years with Jeshua poured through me. Two of the most impactful times with Jeshua came to me almost at once.

The first was when we were meditating alone in the high desert of Galilee. He taught me how to allow my mind to be empty of thought, and I learned how to commune with the Holy Spirit and join with Mother. I had reached a point at which I felt peaceful when I meditated. I heard Jeshua stand up, and he walked in front of me.

"Do you want to know what it's like to have direct communion with the Father," he asked.

I smiled and nodded feeling excited but also not exactly sure what he intended to do.

He placed his hands on top of my head and took a deep breath. Before I knew what was happening, my body felt like it was dissolving and then my heart became filled with an enormous amount of love and joy. A part of me wondered if I could contain it all.

In answer to that wondering, tears of joy and awe at the beauty of this all-encompassing no-body came streaming down my face. I never knew such an experience existed.

As soon as Jeshua took his hands away from my head that reality ended. I opened my eyes and looked at him in stunned disbelief. Jeshua smiled at me and said, "As you forgive and heal your mind, you will come to know this true state more and more." He leaned in and kissed the top of my forehead. I blushed but did not try to hide my face. Instead I closed my eyes hoping to experience connection with our Mother again. But I was not to reconnect on that day.

The second memory that flooded was one several years after that initial connection with Mother. Since then, I had been able to repeat the experience on my own many times but never maintained the connection for very long. On this particular day, we had been staying by the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Jeshua had met and talked with many fishermen about life with God. Several joined our group for the few days that we were there. Many had heard of him by now, and they asked him to demonstrate miracles.

Jeshua massaged his beard and looked around to the small gathering. There were many women present and several fishermen. "Have I not said that what I am able to do, you will be able to do the same and more? That all you need to do is practice true forgiveness?"

Those who had been traveling with us for many weeks now nodded their heads. Jeshua closed his eyes and spoke, "Many of you have been practicing forgiveness, and it brings joy to my heart to see this. I know that there is one among us who is ready, today, to demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit and the healed mind." Jeshua paused and closed his eyes. The group began to whisper wildly, wondering to whom he might be referring. "Mary, would you please rise?"

I remember feeling excited and also a little fearful, wondering what Jeshua might be testing me for this time. He loved surprising me, and this was definitely going to be one of those moments. I stood up and waited.
