Prinxiety: Thunderstorms

Summary: Virgil, got scared during the thunderstorm. Roman comforts him.

Word Count: 347 (They are getting longer. Which might mean I'm improving... Or I'm adding to much random stuff in the middle)

Warnings: None, again.

I really tried, though it probably sucks.

It was mid-day (because I don't see enough that aren't at night) and Virgil was sitting on the couch wrapped in a cover and shivering. As he heard a loud clap of thunder he whimpered. Logically, he knew that the thunder couldn't hurt him, but he wasn't the logical side. This reason alone was enough to convince him that he had every right to be scared. Still, he wished he didn't. His fear was embarrassing. I mean, thunder was harmless so why be scared of it. Not to mention it caused him constant panic attacks. (It is actually quite common for people with anxiety disorders to be triggered by sudden loud noises, I usually have to leave the room during triggering times. Don't worry if you have a fear of thunderstorms simply because it causes panic attacks. You aren't alone.)

He was still wrapped in his blanket tears threatening to fall when he heard footsteps.

"Virgil? Is everything okay?"

'What luck!' I thought. Of course out of all the side to ever exist in Thomas' brain Princey had to be the one to walk in on me having a panic attack! Over a storm no less! It was no secret that I like Sir. Sing-a-lot. I'm pretty sure everyone knew except Roman, who happens to be the densest person on the whole planet! I would rather him know and reject me than him not know and end up keeping my crush on him a 'secret' my entire life!

"Leave me alone Princey!"

"Seriously Virge. What's going on? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, piss off."

Rather than just listening to me he came and sat down behind me. Slowly, he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a hug. Reluctantly, I relaxed some and sunk into his grip.

"Hey, Virge?"

"Yes?"

"Next time you get scared of a storm, you can always come and get me."

"It's 'mbarrassing."

"It's okay Virge. Don't tell anyone, but I get scared of them too."

"Really?"

"Yeah," Roman said, expecting a sarcastic comment. Instead, all Virgil did was snuggle closer.
