Something New

Riko and Ryu

I feel like its best to write without a POV but that will be thrown in there occasionally ;) AUTHORS NOTE at the end!!

After the coffee shop apology date, Bakugou took Todoroki out for a little. Todoroki was able to buy multiple things he had seen and wanted. When Todoroki found something he had wanted, Todoroki's face woukd light up with excitement, which Bakugou loved seeing. He believed seeing Todoroki happy was the best thing in the world.
Later while walking home, or just back to Bakugous house, Todoroki found himself staring through a pet shop window. "No absolutely not. I will not take care of a fucking pet." Bakugou said as he looked at Todoroki.
Todoroki turned his head at Bakugou, walked over to the door and pushed it open ignoring Bakugous statement. UGHHHH Bakugou thought. "How much for a animal?" Todoroki asked. The boy behind the counter looked at Todoroki blankly and said "uhh depends on the pet, and then the supplies and what not.."
"Hmm.." Todoroki looked around the room, bending down peering into a snake cage. he turned away looking again. He found himself staring from fish to a small kitten. There was a litter, about 8 kittens there and one that stood out was all white female with a complete black patch over her left eye. He smiled and pointed. "This one" the guy came out behind the counter and picked up the kitten And handed her to Todoroki. Todoroki held her as he saw out of the corner of his eye Bakugou on the floor playing with a small puppy. A fluffy Golden retriever with bright blue eyes. He smiled. "Do you like that one?" Todoroki asked.
"Huh? Oh. Ha yeah I guess."
Bakugou said smiling down at the dog. "He sure does like you. Excuse me sir, how much?"
Bakugou looked up, "no way are you getting this little fucker he Is way too expensive for the breed he is" Todoroki stopped him by holding up his fathers credit card and smiled. "on me"
Bakugou knew he shouldn't have let Todoroki done that, but it was already done. Bakugou carried the supplies, which was only food and a leash and collar for both pets. "what will you call her?" Bakugou asked Todoroki who was holding the small kitten.
"Ryu" he smiled to himself.
"What about him?" He gestured towards the happy puppy along Bakugous side. "I was thinking, Riko." He said as the dog barked looking up at Bakugou.
Once they walked in the house Todoroki looked around. "All my stuff is here?" He said. "Uh yeah pikachu, shitty hair, tape ass, and pinky and your brother I believe helped out with that.. Hope you don't mind.." He shut the door behind them.
He smiled at Bakugou, placed Ryu down and leaned in to kiss Bakugou. "Thank you."
Riko ran around in circles chasing his tail and barking. They both laughed. "oh my god. who will take care of them while we are at school?" Todoroki asked. Bakugou sighed. "Not sure. we will figure it out though." He grabbed todorokis arm gently pulling him towards him into a soft kiss. Just then Todorokis stomach let out a growl. he looked up at Bakugou. " you get the pets situated, I'll cook."
Todoroki set up two beds, two feeding bowls, and two big water bowl for the kitten and puppy to share, one in the living room and one in the room they would stay in, training pads were also placed down for Riko and a litter box was set up for Ryu. They will stay in the extra bed room with the door caged instead of closed in case anything happened. Once Todoroki finished he walked over to the living room picking up both pets and placing them in the extra room for them to eat. he came back to the living room to this delicious smell of spices. he sat on the couch and turned on the TV as Bakugou remained cooking. A few minutes passed and dinner was ready. They sat at the table eating and talking. Bakugou reached out to grab Todorokis hand, he spoke " I never want to lose you again." Tears filled his eyes. "Me either. It was hell without you." Todoroki said. They smiled at one another. They got up and let the animals out to play for a bit. they watched a movie all together before Todoroki began to yawn which soon made Bakugou yawn.
Getting ready for bed, saying goodnight to the pets, and laying in the bed next to each other. "Katsuki.." Todoroki said. "I never meant to hurt you I was just so mad at you and what you said and did to midoriya, but I was more upset at midoriya trying something like that. he's a good kid and struggles to stay positive. Why would he just want to give up then and there. its been bothering me. He wouldn't give up just like that. not him." He looked up at Bakugou. Bakugou sighed. "deku is a strange kid. I-in a good way too I guess. who knows what goes on in his mind. I shouldn't have been such an asshole to him I mean, he looks up to me damnit. but why me of all people, I mean yeah he looks up to all might too, but me? I wasnt the best person to him. This one time when we were kids I had just gotten my quirk. I was so excited. but not as excited as he was. He was more excited than me. I didnt know why but it pissed me off. I should've been the one who was happy with my quirk. he saw me as this awesome guy and I saw myself worthless because no matter how happy he got for me I couldn't be happier about myself than he was.. I didnt know what was wrong with me. I started telling myself I was the best, number one, I created this huge ego based off of lies.. Just to make myself feel better about myself.. I don't know. Let's uh get some sleep huh?" He smiled and touched Todorokis cheek.

WOW OH WOW GUYS ITS BEEN FOREVER SINCE I UPLOADED A CHAPTER! im so sorry I'm just stressing a lot right now about multiple things. but thank you everyone so freaking much hope you enjoy and wow uh plot twist? What on earth am I going to lead you guys into next?  Also!!! The dog and cat idea was all @AlexandraOvkov it was their suggestion which I think was super cute Btw! I always take suggestions!!
