fear is how I fall, confusing what is real

It's been a week since shisui figured out he loved itachi, and it was all good. He was planning on telling itachi the next day, but he's been too busy, or the pain in his chest would get him.

And he wanted to tell him so badly, but Everytime he was about to tell him someone always had to come and ruin the moment.

And right now shisui was at fugaku and Mikoto house, waiting to talk to itachi he was helping Mikoto in the kitchen.

" Shisui what are you doing here? "

He turns to see sasuke on the couch, he had his phone out as if was texting someone.

" Oh I just came to see  itachi "

" Oh I see, still killing him I see "

" What no what I'm going to tell him is good news "

" Oh you've decided to get together with another hoe "

" What no, what's your problem sasuke? "

" My problem is my brother dying because of you, and everyone acts like it's ok. You just act like everything ok, not even caring he might not wake up tomorrow "

" What I do care "

" No you don't, you act like your regular dumb self, not even caring my brother dying, your best friend. And it pissed me off, do you even care he loves you "

" I do care "

" Well you sure don't act like it, and your a dumbass. And I hate you for causing him so much pain, why can't you just love him back "

" I do love your brother sasuke, I finally figured out and I've been trying to tell him. But I can't find the perfect moment, and if I do someone always come and ruin it '

" LIER!, Your just saying that to shut me up "

" No I really do, I love the way itachi is so considerate of others, the way no matter how much he's going through he's there for someone who needs him. The way he looks so happy when he sees dangos, the way he smiles, I love itachi with all my heart "

Sasuke looked at shisui suprised, shisui had a serious look on his face and looked like he was telling the truth.

" You really love my brother then "

" Yes I won't lie about something like this "

" Then if you loved him, you wouldn't be scared to tell him in front of us "

Shisui was then In shocked, but knew sasuke was right. If he turely loved itachi like he said, he won't be afraid to tell him in front of his family.

" Hey what are you guys talking about? "

Shisui and sasuke turn around to see itachi in the entrance of the living room. He was wearing  a nice black long sleeved and black sweat pants, his hair was tied back into it usual low poneytail.

" Uh nothing "

Sasuke nuges him and pushes him forward to itachi, shisui got the message and walks up to him.

" Actually itachi I need to tell you something "

" Could it wait, I need to help Mom with dinner "

" No it can't and I'm going to tell you "

He grabs itachi hands and holds them, he looks at itachi in the eyes.

" Itachi you are my best friend, you've always been there for me in my good and bad times. No matter how much shit we've been through, you never left me alone. I love the way your so considerate for others, and willing to put other needs before yours. I love the way when your in nature, you look like a little kid in a toy store and are so excited. I love the way your long raven hair flows in the wind, how I can run my fingers in it and it's silky smooth. The way your eyes sparkle when you see dangos, your wheat pale skin. "

" Shisui what are you trying to say? "

Itachi had a big blush on his face, and shisui just smiled at him he wasn't afraid to tell him how he feels. At this point fugaku and Mikoto we're in the living room, watching this whole scene unfold. Shisui squeezes his hands, and his smile widen.

" What I'm saying is I love you itachi uchiha, I love you to death and I'm not afraid to say it. I will yell it out for the whole world to know, I love you itachi with my whole heart "

Itachi was in shocked never in his whole life have he ever felt so happy, but before he could answer he felt like something stabbed him in the chest.

He coughed a little and put his hand over his mouth and he fell to his knees.

" Itachi! "

Shisui yelled and kneed down next to him and fugaku, Mikoto, and sasuke ran next to him. Itachi moved his hand and his eyes widen, there in his hand was blood.

" B-blood? "

Shisui said in a shaky voice.

" It's worse then I thought, itachi it appears your too far into the process. That even shisui finally excepting he loves you won't save you.  "

" Wh-what? "

" what I'm saying once you start coughing up blood, it means you only have four hours left to live, I'm sorry son but there's no way in saving you  "

Itachi looked at his father in fear, he wasn't scared of dying but shisui finally realized he loved him. And knowing that sadden him, finally the one he loved, loved him back but he was going to die.

" No there's got to be something I can do, please anything "

" There's one thing you can do, but there's no guarantee this will work "

" I'll do it "

" You must mate with my son "

Fugaku looked shisui in the eyes as he said that, and shisui couldn't help but blush as he said that.

" What? "

" This has only worked a handful of times if you wish to save him, you must mate with my son. But you must both as you do this drink a drop of each other's blood. Shisui this is the only option left, if you don't mate with itachi, he will die no matter what, but there's also no guarantee this will work "

Shisui was nervous and looked at itachi, he had started to grip his chest and looked in pain, and shisui knew his answer once he saw him.

" I'll do it "

" I see do what you must shisui, but remember shisui this might not work so don't get your hopes up "

Shisui nodded his head, he picked up itachi bridal style and looked at him. Itachi looked at him and looked as if he was still in pain.

" Go to itachi's room is I'd rather if you don't do that in the guest room "

" don't worry fugaku I'll save itachi no matter what "

He turns around and start to head to itachi's room, determine to save him.

I wonder how many lives I will have to live, until I find my way back to you.
