Evie woke up and yawned peacefully. Everything was perfect. Or so she thought. Since Ben's coronation, which was exactly one month ago, nothing special happened and it was really calm. Until now. She opened the window for fresh air and she saw Jay and Carlos running, with Dude in the lead. Well yeah, she saw Jay running, with Dude in the lead. Carlos leaned against a tree, panting as his life depended on it. Carlos was very fast, but that doesn't mean he had a good condition. Evie laughed at the poor boy with a bit of pity in her eyes. A bit. She shook her head with a smile and headed towards the bathroom to take a shower and get dressed. The day before, which was Thursday, she already chose her outfit for Friday. Evie took her warm, relaxing shower and she wore a peacock blue dressing gown, with a white towel on her head. Her clothes hung on a chair. She wanted to take them and put them on in the bathroom, but things changed. The four VK's weren't settled for a one hundred percent yet in the "good world". That's why Evie let out a gasp and screamed when she saw her clothes.

Mal awoke with a grumpy facial expression. 'Evie, why are you screaming like that at...' She stopped to look at her digital clock. '... 7:14? It's a miracle that the windows are still intact.' 'Mal, it's an FE!' 'And what does that mean? Fried egg?' Evie sighed. 'No time for jokes! It's a fashion emergency! Look!' She pointed at her outfit, which changed a lot. Usually, Evie would wear something darker, something that says 'good, but not soft' from the moment you see it. Just like Evie herself. And her friends, of course. Something like this:

That was the outfit she hung on the chair Thursday

That was the outfit she hung on the chair Thursday. But nope, this outfit hung there:

It wasn't ugly, of course not, but Evie thought that it looked too 'good', you know? It was much too white, for her taste

It wasn't ugly, of course not, but Evie thought that it looked too 'good', you know? It was much too white, for her taste. Her color theme existed in blue, red, gold and some black. White? Not really her color, she found. Mal looked surprised, very surprised. 'Wow, E, that is, uh... pretty much white?' 'Exactly! I would never pick an outfit with so much white, I don't even recognize this one!' Before Mal could answer, the boys stormed into the room.

'What's the emergency?' Jay asked as he looked around, just like Carlos. Dude growled at the unexisting danger. They looked at the girls who raised an eyebrow. 'Seriously?' Mal asked dryly. Jay shrugged. 'What are you doing here?' Evie asked. 'We heard you scream, so we thought something bad happened here. Why did you scream?' Carlos asked her. Evie became sad again. 'Look at this!' She held the outfit. 'I don't see anything weird, only a giant change of style,' Jay shrugged again. Carlos joined him. 'Yeah, me neither.' Evie facepalmed. Another scream escaped. Not from Evie this time, it was Mal, who looked into her closet. All her outfits turned so light, and bright, Mal almost had to throw up. 'I guess it happened to me too.' The others looked into her closet. 'How the geez is this possible?' Carlos asked. Evie looked at them up and down. 'Why are your outfits still normal?'

'Evie, why would our tourney outfits change?' Jay scoffed a little. Evie rolled her eyes. 'Just a question.' Evie's eyes widened as she realized something. She ran to her closet and moaned. The same scenario like Mal. 'If I were you, I would look into my closet,' she sighed and looked at the boys. They both looked at each other and ran out of the dorm, with Dude on their heels. The little mutt was tired of running. Mal decided to put out the darkest outfit she could find:

Evie just put on the outfit that hung on the chair and did her makeup, just like Mal

Evie just put on the outfit that hung on the chair and did her makeup, just like Mal. After that, the boys came rushing in again, which startled the girls. 'Have you never learned to knock?!' Mal snapped. Jay walked a few steps back and knocked on the door. Mal rolled her eyes. Evie's eyes fell on their outfits. She sighed. 'You too?' They nodded. Jay's outfit wasn't the best, but after all, it was okay:

Carlos' outfit was, not the best one in the row:

It was okay by itself, but not so good for school

It was okay by itself, but not so good for school. For a cotillion, maybe, okay. But just for school? Na-ah. Not much Carlos' style. 'This is R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!' Mal screamed. 'Yeah, we know the song, Mal, moving on,' Jay said. Mal gave him a slap on his head. 'Ow!' 'Okay, let's go to school, I guess?' Evie suggested. 'Yeah, I'm pretty hungry. First stop: the cafeteria. Anyways, let's go!' Mal packed her backpack, just like Evie. Jay and Carlos had their backpacks on their back already. 'Come on, guys, let's go,' Mal said. The four VK's left the room and walked to their first lessons. A few people looked at them and other students even took pictures. Mal went to History, Evie went to Chemistry, and Carlos and Jay went to Gym Class. Mal said goodbye to her friends and entered the classroom. 'This is going to be a long day...' she muttered before she sat down next to Ben. She better didn't...
