Kenzie's pov

I wake up later then I normally do. I'm laying in my bed and I look around quickly. Seeing no one assuming one of the boy had brought me up here when I fell asleep.

I glance at my charging cable and don't see my phone on it. I get up and go brush my teeth. Pull my hair into a quick messy bun and wipe my makeup away from last night. I jog down the stairs towards my kitchen where there are voices.

"Colby promise me." I walk in and see Sky and Colby pinky promising. Jake looks over and smiles at me.

"Good morning Kenny Bear." Colby smiles and walks over giving me a hug. I hug him back and taken in a huge sniff of his cologne.

"Good morning." I say to Sky, Colby, Jake and Elton. I walk to the fridge and grab a water. "So what's up?" I ask looking around at everyone staring at me.

Everyone shakes there head no. "Nothing." Sky says looking down at her phone.

My phone..

"Hey does anyone know where my phone is?" I ask looking over the counter and then at the boys and girl standing in front of me.

"Yeah I grabbed it last night from you when you fell asleep." Elton smiles and grabs it out of his pocket and slides it on the counter. I go to grab it and Colby's hand covers it.

"There's something you need to know." He says looking down. "There's something on social media." He started to talk and then paused.

"Colby there's a lot on social media." I smile at him, he gives a half smile back at me and then looks at me.

"I mean something serious." Colby says pausing again. I skip my phone out from under his hand and look at the lock screen and see all the notifications.

"What are you like with someone?" I ask remember that he wasn't with the group last night. "Wait is it Jake?" I glance at Jake. "Or Brennen?" I laugh and open Instagram to see the post I have been repeatedly tagged in.

I open my phone seeing theyoutuberdramaalerts post and read over it quickly. I look up at Colby and then at everyone in the room.

I smile at them as they stare at me. "What?" I question.

"You are okay Kenzie?" Skylar questions directly after me. I nod and take a sip of my water. I turn on my heals and look through my cabinets.

I grab the granola as Colby breaks the thick air with his voice. "Kenz." He almost whispers. "Are you okay?" He asks as I turned around with the granola.

"Of course I'm okay. Why wouldn't I be?" I ask and grab a measuring cup. I measure 1 cup out and pour it into a bowl.

"Have you looked at Instagram?" Jake asked blankly, watching my reactions carefully.

"Yeah what's wrong with instagram?" I ask checking my phone like I missed something. I put my phone down and then toss the granola back into the cabinet.

"Kenzie are you sure everything is okay?" Colby asked leaning down into his elbows next to me, watching my every move.

"Stop asking if I'm okay. I'm fine." I say a little annoyed and then I start to eat my granola quickly and look at the clock on my phone. 1:36 pm.

"Hey let's go to the batting cages. I'll call Corey and Aaron and Sam. We can all go if they want to." Elton says trying to lighten the mood.

I nod and go upstairs without a word. I change into a pair of shorts and put on a huge sweatshirt. I tuck it in a little bit. A knock sounded on my door.

"Come in." I say looking in the mirror fixing my hair, back up into a messier bun. Colby walked in.

"Hey Kenz." He smiles and sits down on my bed. "Do you want to talk?" He asks looking at his hands and then at me.

"About?" I ask, even though I know what he wants to talk about.

"You know." He says looking me in my eyes and then down my body to the floor and then to his feet.

"Colby it's fine. We are friends. If it's true then it's true. If it's not then it's not. I don't have a reason to be mad." I shrug and grab my spray and spray it a whole bunch of times over me.

"Kenzie you are upset." Colby says standing up and walking behind me. I shake my head and roll my eyes.

"No I'm fin." Colby cuts me off by turning me around.

"Stop. I have grown to know when you are okay and when you are not. When you talk about Jace this is how you act sad and hurt. You seem sad and hurt and kind of upset. Just say what's on your mind." He blurts out then putting his head down. "Please."

"I am okay. I just. I don't know. I am okay. The post didn't piss me off. You didn't piss me off. I just i got sad. That's all." I say after a minute of thinking.

"It's not me." Colby says letting his shoulders relax.

"I know." I say and watch him relax even more. "You are way uglier from behind."
