Cade glared at Jenna as she smiled sweetly at him from the first class seat that they were seated in. "What is that supposed to mean?" He asked her.
Jenna repeated herself as she told him, "If you expect to have sex with me, you aren't allowed to have sex with anyone else. If you decide to have other partners, then I am free to have my own as well. But don't expect to get any from me."
"Makes sense I guess." He told her. "Second, I expect to have some freedom, so if you want to use me then don't get angry when I use you. You're my husband but also my chaperone basically, so if I want to go somewhere, either give me a detail or you're coming along. At the end of the day, we're basically business partners."
Cade narrowed his eyes at her, "So you want to be independent?" Jenna nodded her head at him. "I will do my own thing, and you can do yours...whatever it is that you do." She told him and he smirked at her. "I work with the government if that is what you're wondering."
She turned her head so quick, that she almost broke her neck, "What?!"
"I'm a contractor, so the IT part is true and I usually work with the Department of Defense. Sometimes state." He told her and if her jaw couldn't have dropped any lower she would have it fall all the way to the ground. "You're bold aren't you?"
"Well, I was raised with my mom so I had a different last name. For the most part, my record is clean. I just so happened to have been sired by Giovanni but I am not one of them." He said as he clenched his jaw. "Why did you show up now?" She asked him and he looked away from her before she figured he wasn't planning on answering. "That will be for another time princess. Let's focus on better things." He said leaning back in his seat.
"Fine, Where are we going?" She asked him as he started typing away at his laptop. He put his hands up to his lips as he looked at her through the lens of his glasses. "Shh. You are talking too much." He joked and she slapped his arm. "You're such an ass." She told him and he smiled at her. "It's a surprise."
Jenna huffed as she blew out a sigh and sat back. Fine, she would stop pestering until they got to their destination. She opened the in-flight panel to find some movies that she could watch on the flight, trying her best not to check the status of the flight without ruining the surprise. She plugged her headphones in and randomly clicked on a romance flick before sipping on wine.

Jenna didn't realize she fell asleep until she felt a hand on her cheek. She murmured something before she heard his voice. "Hey, wake up." He said and her eyes fluttered opened. "You're snoring." He said and Jenna shook the fuzz away. "You're such a liar. I don't snore." She said stretching.
He laughed as he put his things away into his backpack. "We're landing." He told her and Jenna yawned. It was night and she looked around. One of the pilots of the plane was on the intercom as he let the flight know the local time along with their final destination. "Are we going to France?" She asked him and he nodded.
Jenna wanted to conceal her excitement but she couldn't. She always wanted to visit Paris but couldn't because they couldn't chancing her out and about with everyone. She looked to the outside of the window and saw the lights. She was like a kid in a candy store as she had her face on the window.
When they landed, there was a driver there to pick the couple up who took them to their hotel. They were given a honeymoon suite that was extravagant and lavish and she had noticed that there was a huge tub in the corner of the room with an even larger bed. Jenna saw that Cade had smirked as he saw it and said, "We should put that to good use." She rolled her eyes and opened the curtains overlooking the city as she was met with such beauty. She couldn't wait to explore the new horizons in front of her.

They were in the country side of Italy before she realized something. "Oh no..."she said as she sat up on the passenger side of the vehicle and they stopped at the family villa. Outside, she caught sight of her father who was standing with her mom. "Don't tell me they're part of the honeymoon?" She looked at Cade, wide eyed.
"Well, I promised to bring you here by the end of the trip." He said. They had spent five days roaming France and their final stop was at her family villa. He stopped the car and she saw her sister running out the doors. "Oh god, talk about a twat swat." As she narrowed her eyes at him and then her sister as she ran up to the pair.
"You're still alive!" She hugged Jenna and then Cade. Her cheeks were pink as she looked at them. "Did you guys work on making a baby?" She asked and Jenna stared at her wide eyed. "You're not even old enough to where babies come from." She said sarcastically as she grabbed her sister to walk away with her. Jenna acknowledged her parents before walking past them with Melissa. "Where's Juno?" She asked and Melissa shrugged. I think he's out back with Nonna.
This was a great way to end their honeymoon she thought. With her whole freaking family. Jenna glanced back to Cade who was talking to her parents as he clapped a hand on his back and they all moved towards the villa.
They're extended family was there and they congratulated the couple as they rained kisses on the pair. Cade was overwhelmed with the amount of people around him and he wasn't used to having this much. "A lot isn't it?" Jenna asked him as she gave him a glass of wine and he accepted. They were talking outback and they both sat around the bonfire. "I can't stand them." She said and he watched the fire burning.
"It's better than none." He said and she watched him as he stared. "What happened to your mom?
"She died five years ago in a car accident." He said and took a sip. Jenna was surprised as he said it almost nonchalantly but she knew better. He was trying to numb himself from feeling any hurt. "I was in my last year of college and they said it was a hit and run. I was left with whatever she had, and not much. She tried to live under the grid because she ran away from Giovanni Don. But to be honest, I don't think he cared enough to find out if she even went through with the abortion." Jenna grabbed his hand and interlocked it with hers. "I'm sorry." She said and he shrugged.
"I have distant cousins don't get me wrong but the hit and run wasn't an accident. I know somehow that Giovanni is behind it. I just need to find out why." He said.
"Is that why you are trying to infiltrate his family?" She asked. He watched the fire burn as he nodded. "The Giovanni's are bad people." He said.
"Then what do you think of my dad?" She asked knowing that her family wasn't innocent either. He sighed as he looked at her, "No matter what you think of your dad, he's a good man. If you really think about it, he is similar to a modern day Robin Hood. He steals, lie, cheat, and kill but its all for the better of those around him.
"He almost married me to that man." Jenna said in reply, her anger growing. "Right, but for what reason? You think he has an easy life. He is constantly a target and so is his family." Cade said and he knew that some things he couldn't change. "Your father is not a bad man, though he has questionable contacts, he has not done the things that Giovanni or the other guys have done. You wouldn't know because you are pampered. Some people would want what you have."
"What, to be locked behind doors and no sense of freedom?" She asked, "To have an arranged marriage? Tell me what's great about it?"
"You have stability. You think if you gave him good reason, he would grant some things for you. He is looking out for his family and you want materialistic things. Things that don't really matter in life." He said. "I'm not saying that you don't need freedom or the choice to do what you want. You're an adult after all, but have you talked to him?" Cade said and Jenna let go of his hand. "This is not about me. It's about you." She said as she stood up and moved from him.
"It has always been about you Jenna. You're just too childish to see it." He said and Jenna glared at him before she moved away from him and he watched her disappear into the villa before he downed the rest of the wine and listened to the fire crackle.
