He filled another mug with coffee and put more sugar than coffee into the mug as he slid the drink to her which she happily accepted. She downed her coffee in gusto and glanced at the clock. It was three thirty and she figured she could go out and about with her family. On top of that, she did need to look for some furniture to fill up their new home.

Jenna got dressed and before leaving, she spoke to Cade who was sitting at the island with two laptops on top of the table. He glanced up, another coffee mug in hand and he peeked at her over the rim of the cup. He was wearing a beanie and he had a few day's worth of hair on his face. "I think I like you better clean shaven." She told him as she ran the back of her hand on his face and then stopped when she realized what she was doing. He smiled at her and touched his own face, scratching at the scuff. His eyes crinkled and there was a slight indentation in his cheeks that she found to be quite attractive.

"I kind of like it. So you didn't like my beard?" He asked. Jenna shook her head and made a face. "No, you look too much like the lord." She told him and he laughed. "So you'll be having two bodyguards with you at all time. Don't pull that shit you've been trying to do since the day that we met. Keep me on speed dial, please be safe." He said and Jenna sarcastically nodded at him. "I'm serious Jenna." He said sternly as she put the strap of her purse on her shoulder.

"Oh my god, you wanna know what I saw earlier? I think I'm scarred." Melissa said as they both walked ahead and Esmeralda and Juno were behind. "What?" Jenna asked her sister glancing behind them to one of the men that were trailing behind and another that was in front.

"Mom and dad were making out." She squealed and they both looked back to their mom who heard what they just said. Jenna made a face and so did her siblings. "Eww." They said in unison and the idea of her parents kissing let alone loving each other made her want to gag. She couldn't picture her dad being loving nor being a human being.

Her mom laughed and she smacked Melissa on her behind. "I am married to your father and have been for twenty two years. How do you think that all three of you have been put on this earth?" She asked and Juno rolled his eyes and Melissa made a gagging face. "Oh my god mom. Were you pregnant when you got married? Was it a shotgun wedding?" Jenna asked.

"No sweetheart. You were conceived after that." She said and Jenna thought about it until she said, "Eww mom, were you sixteen when you had me? Dad is such a pedo." She said and Esmeralda laughed. "It was different times honey. Your dad was nineteen, we were married by then." Jenna shivered. "That's still gross." She said as they entered another store. The store they entered was a department store and they were looking for dining tables when she had a call from Cade.

She answered the call and heard a voice but the reception was bad. "I'm going to take this call, it's Cade." She called out and walked out the store. She didn't bother to wait for the security detail as she waited for a reply. She had her back turned and could see one of the men walking to her direction from the other side of the double doors as a vehicle stopped right behind her.

Jenna turned right in time to see the door slide open as someone jumped out of the van and threw something over her head before she could react. Her phone slid out of her hand as she was rushed forward and all she could hear was yelling and the door slamming shut behind her.

She was too stunned to say anything as she sat quietly, the shock still rushing through her system. She had to think, what did her father tell her if something like this happened. She couldn't think as she thought that this was it. The enemy had her and she had dropped her phone, the only thing she knew that they could track her. She heard voices around her and then someone speaking to what she had to assume was a phone. "Got her, what's the location?" The voice asked.

She tried to listen hard as someone yelled, "Fuck!" Before there was swerving, a pop sound and then everything in her world turned upside down, throwing her against the vehicle as she hit everything she possibly could as her screams, she couldn't even register as she could hear metal crunching and glass shattering. She didn't register any pain as she felt herself taste blood and then she hit something hard before passing out into even more darkness.
