(A/N In this chapter... there may be some Prinxiety hate (I think) but I DO NOT HATE PRINXIETY! I LOVE ALL SHIPS! ITS JUST THAT ITS PART OF THE PLOT! and I think I smell fire somewhere)
Patton had made Logan and himself some coffee while Logan told why he is homophobic.
It had been like this all his life, going to homophobic parades was a normal thing for him. Logan was taught that gay is a sin and of course he followed those sayings. The first time he ever met a homosexual was when they punched one of his fellow protesters in the face, but right now he started to realise there must have been something else behind it.
The man still didn't know if he accepted homosexuality or not but he would never physically hurt another human. Homosexual or not, despite his parents disagreement.
Patton reassured him by admitting that he was once in the same place, though not as serious. Patton's parents were not as experienced with homosexuality so when they were first introduced they had some hesitation, but when Patton met Virgil they accepted them fully.
Logan gave him a little smile, sadly it was a fake one but it got the message across that Logan was thankful. He just didn't know if it was alright or not.
(2 weeks water)
Logan sits in the Cafe Virgil had taken him too and also works at (he thanks Patton for that information). An open laptop blocked his view from where he sat and the counter, perfect to be spying on -and regretting what he did- to Virgil.
Logan didn't mean to run away, it was just the thought of his parents seeing him - dispite them living in another state - and what would they do if he was seen around with a homosexual? Would they would disown him? Probably. Beat him up until he can't walk anymore? More than likely. It was a huge risk if anyone he knew saw him around with a known homosexual and he did not want that happening to him. He himself didn't know if it was alright to be gay!
Logan let's his eyes follow the white, drizzle-like patterns that are painted on the table. He finished what he needed to do on his laptop a few minutes ago and just wanted to relax, also he had his half filled coffee next to him so there was no point in leaving. Thankfully it was not served to him by Virgil - who was currently at the counter - , but another man.
The wise man looks up when he hears the jingle of the bell, signalling another customer has arrived. And who was this man, you may ask? None other than the one Logan hates, Roman. The tanned male wasted no time as he heads straight to where Virgil is working. Logan scowls with anger. He disliked--no, hates Roman and he doesn't know why. Maybe because he was gay? No, Virgil was gay and Logan is okay with him. Actually, less than okay. He has been miserable ever since Virgil introduced Roman and he doesn't know why. Jealousy would take over Logan whenever they were seen together by him.
They talked for 5 minutes but were too far for Logan to hear until - what Logan guessed - Virgil went on break, where they moved to a table near the man. The laptop was moved so they would not notice Logan yet he could still hear and see what they were doing. He just hoped he wouldn't get caught.
"I should really buy you a cupcake soon, Patton too" Roman promised, pecking Virgil on the cheek before pulling up a chair for the emo and himself. They both sat down.
"You know I don't like icing, Ro. Plus cupcakes are too plain." The other admitted, chuckling a bit. His purple bangs fell in front of his eyes and Logan couldn't help but be tempted to move them. This way he could see his eyes, which he was blocked off from now. Thankfully - and not so thankfully since Logan hated this action - Roman did it for him, making the other give a smile in return. "I'm not even keen on Patton's cupcakes and they're the best I've ever had!"
The tanned male let out a hearty laugh "Come on! Patton makes great cupcakes! They're sweet and cute" Then Roman leaned in, slowly "But not as much as you"
"Figuratively" Logan quietly muttered behind his computer screen. He had been around Patton so much now that he was beginning to realise when people meant their words figuratively.
Virgil let out a little laugh before kissing Roman. Logan rolled his eyes and noticed a detail. It wasn't like the kisses in movies which he would watch with Patton. Kisses would normally be loving and looking into each other's eyes when they ended the moment but this...this was just an emotionless kiss and ended it like nothing happened.
In the next 20 minutes Logan was sat there, watching them, he realised other stuff. It looked like no romantic feelings were passed from one another, no things that he saw in those sappy, romantic movies were here. Logan knew something was off. He would have also guessed it if he wasn't a relationship virgin. Eventually, he just decided to leave, quickly packing up his laptop and walking out the door. Virgil and Roman did not see him.
-
The cafe door opened and in came some drama kids, Roman smiled as they entered.
"Well, Vee, I should be off! To Narnia!" Roman declared, grabbing his bag as he intended to walk to the stage. Virgil huffed jokingly and rolled his eyes.
"You're doing 'Face' , Roman, and I don't even think 'Narnia' is a stage play yet" Virgil chuckled.
"Probably somewhere- Well goodbye!" Roman quickly pecked the emo on the cheek and caught with the kids at the door.
"You're doing the show here" Virgil sighed, getting up as he should be back at work now.
(A/N that end part was weird, dw its not a cliff hanger. We just wanted to write it)
