(A/N plz tell me if I'm repeating a phrase too much! Also u guys enjoying it???)

The silver car pulls up next to a house, boxes outside and a moving truck on the other side of the street. Patton let his hands fall from the leather wheel when he saw signs of dogs playing nearby and immediately getting out of the vehicle. Virgil groaned from the passenger side and slowly took out is headphones.

His purple bangs fell over his eyes as he climbed out of the car, only to be nearly pushed on the grassy floor when his mother tackled him with a hug. "Mum!" They exclaimed, calming down from the woman's previous actions.

Virgil's mother finally let go of him, her hat falling to the ground and letting her blonde dyed hair shine on the sun. A flower dress wrapped around her body and hung around her legs "Oh my boy! I've missed you!"

"It's only been 2 weeks" Virgil rolled his eyes and bent down to pick up the straw hat.

"And?" Patton came running towards them. "Heya sweetheart!"

"Hi Mrs Dean! Can-" Patton started.

Mrs Dean cut the man off, "Yes you can, the dogs should be inside" And then Patton was off, screaming 'thanks' as he ran in the direction of the dogs. Now it was only Virgil and Mrs Dean outside, the hat was returned to the original owner.

"You definitely know Patton" Virgil laughed, kissing the woman's cheek then sitting on the front of the car like the madlad he is. Patton wouldn't complain about him doing it, it's a shared car but only Patton could drive. Anxiety would rise in Virgil whenever he would think about getting a licence.

The woman motioned for her son to come inside "Well of course I would! You've known him since 8th grade, Veevee!"

The emo groaned "Don't call me 'Veevee'!" making the older one laugh. They both walked to a certain pile of boxes and each picked one up. A few dogs could be heard barking from another room, they assumed - well they knew - it wasn't just dogs. Patton would always bark along with the dogs, no matter where, no matter when. The two started to walk back out.

"So…" Mrs Dean started "You seeing anybody special yet?" Virgil didn't answer. She asked again and yet, still no answer. "I'll take that as a ye-"

"I'm not seeing anybody" Virgil lied, quickly. Mrs Dean would quite often ask if he would be seeing anybody and Virgil hated it. Although he knew she meant good, he felt like he was under pressure to get a date and what good that did him. They quickly changed the subject, his mother knowing that he was seeing somebody and they continued to pack up the boxes.

Box after box they eventually had only a few left. Virgil wanted it to be over, he could feel the summer sun giving him a tan and - trust me on this--he did not want a tan. Since his tan could always be seen when he would have one then that would lead into unnecessary comments, such as 'Wow, you've finally came out your cave?' and 'Thought you said you hated the sun?'. He was antisocial, he hated the sun and that was it.

They were just walking back out with the last boxes, their arms feeling like they wanted to die but at least they now had Patton and then a black car pulled up. Virgil made a disapproving noise when he recognised who it was.

"Heyyyy ladies!" Virgil's brother greeted, waving through the window of the car. Coffee could be seen through the window and Virgil knew he has already has around 3 cups already just by looking through his glasses (even though they were sunglasses) and seeing his black eyes that they both shared. Dark brown hair - the same colour as Virgil's- was gelled back and you could see the man has put makeup on his eyebrows. As soon as the man took his shades off you could also see eyeliner but not the way Virgil wears his. This time, the man wore it properly, unlike Virgil.

"Remy" Virgil muttered as he rested his shoulders, box still in his arms. On the other hand, Mrs Dean squealed in excitement, seeing her eldest son was a surprise especially when he hadn't planned to visit.

Remy slowly stepped out of his car, his sunglasses now resting on his head, and walked up to the three.

"Heya kiddo!" Patton smiled. It was almost as big as Mrs Dean's.

"Hey Patty" The caffeine addict helpfully took the boxes out of their hands, leaving Virgil to carry his. Virgil was not happy about this.

"Oh so you help them?" Virgil complained, heading towards the truck with his brother by his side. Remy shrugged and laughed. "I hate you"

"You too, kid" Mrs Dean quickly said she'll be inside making some tea, Patton followed, so now it was only the two brothers outside.

"Just because I'm 6 years younger thank you doesn't mean I'm a kid, Dick head!"

"Dick head?" They place the boxes in the truck and push them back so they clash with the others "Says you" The emo groaned and told him to shut up.

-

They day went on, Patton and Virgil stayed far longer than planned and the sun started to set. Remy still sat inside when they went out.

As they began to leave, Mrs Dean started to ramble "You promise me that you'll visit? I mean you are working two jobs! I don't want you to-"

Virgil cut the woman off with a light chuckle "Chill mum, you're starting to sound like Patton" He pointed with his thumb behind him to the man he was talking about. "I'm gonna be fine, I love you"

"Love you too, sweet. Bye Pat!"

"Bye Mrs Dean!" Patton added, the lady waved.

Patton started to pull out and the man beside him gave a final wave. He seemed sad, and he was. Well, a little sad, actually. He just helped remove all the memories from his childhood home but he knew it was worth it. That place was beginning to tear into shreds.

The car turns the corner and carries on driving down the road.

"So where does Logan work again?" The emo asked, scrolling through his phone and getting his black earphones out.

"The library, why?" Patton kept his gaze on the road, stopping the car behind another. He gave a quick noise of annoyance.

The other man smiled softly "Cool"
