(A/N all this book may be bad cuz we mainly write in under the desks at school. My school has also banned phones so lmao...Welp hope ya'll enjoy)

Logan closed the door with a slam. His breath rigged and uneven after running home. Locking the door in a panic, he breaths out "What... What just happened"

Logan is confused, he is jealous. Why is he jealous? He has no need to be! Well that is what he kept telling himself.

'Virgil is... Gay?!' Logan thought, falling down on the sofa. 'And he has a boyfriend?!' A part of him was completely distraught, another was disgusted. Then here was that little part of him that was amazed. He has always been told that 'gay' meant that you're sick, you are a disgusting person and a disgrace to the world. Nobody has taught him that being gay could mean you're a great friend. Nobody told him that gay didn't have to do with anything about how much a friend they are.

Maybe he was wrong. Maybe this was some sick prank they pulled just too see how he'd react? That has got to be it.

But what if it wasn't? What if Virgil truly was gay and Logan had been taught wrong his whole life? He didn't know how he felt about Virgil anymore, he didn't before but now he was more confused. He hated Roman. Logan held his head in confusion.

He let his brown, messy hair stay a mess. His eyes squeezed shut with the thought of him knowing a faggot. Except, they weren't a faggot, they were gay. Except, they were gay, not a desease carrying mistake. Then it could have all been a prank, right? He couldn't have been taught wrong! Logan took a few deep breaths in an attempt to calm down before a few knocks rung in his ears.

The man pulled himself up with a shaky breath and walked towards the door, only opening it too see that fluffy hair he had been taught to smile at. Patton stood there, worried face and all. Logan welcomed him in but before anyone could do anything else Patton rushed them both in.

They both sat on the sofa, Patton still worrying. "Logey? What happened?!" Patton was seriously confused. Logan never acted like this!

Logan thought Patton was okay to ask, since they were roommates with Virgil. "Virgil.... Is gay?!" The man asked, panic running through his voice.

Patton didn't reply for a moment before saying "Yeah" pretty quietly. Logan let his head fall to his hands and a realisation came to Patton when his eyes widened "Are you.... Homophobic?"

The smarter man groaned "I do not know anymore?!". It was true, what if being gay wasn't a bad thing and Logan is coming to accept it? What would his mother and father think of him? The man reached for his phone from the side "Excuse me, Patton. I need to call someone"

Logan scrolled through his contacts and pressed the one which he has named his mother. As he waited for her to pick up and Patton excuses himself to the bathroom, feeling like he would be invading Logans privacy (and he also needs time to understand what Logan has just been saying).

The ringing stopped and Logan put the device up to his ear, waiting for the muffled voice to come through.

"Hello? Logan?" The voice came from the phone. Logan smiled, feeling comforted by the woman's voice.

The men took a deep breath "Hello, mother, I- uh-"

"Are you okay, sweetheart?" His mother asked, he could hear the genuine concern in her voice. She had always been protective of Logan so she must know what to do.

"I- uh- I met a..." He lowered his voice for the next word "faggot". Immediately, a wave of guilt hit him and he regrets saying anything. He had just called Virgil a faggot.

There was no answer on the other side for a moment. Logan asked if she was there.

"Does it live near you?" She asked in a serious tone. The word 'it' made Logan wince.

"yeah-" The man cut himself off when he realised what the woman would do. She'd make him move, meaning he can't see Patton. He doesn't know how he feels about the emo next door. She would also give Virgil a good beating and no doubt Patton too. He quickly made something up to stop her from doing this "B-but they are- are moving so I don't have to move."

Logan knew how fake that sounds and cringes at his own words, thinking of another chain of lies to follow. Now he was panicking.

"You never speak like that..." the voice came through "You're lying -"

"Falsehood! I am just a little shaken up" Logan lied, flawlessly. She eventually believed her son after another few lies and they ended the call. Logan regretted calling her in the first place, how did Logan even think about her being able to do the right thing?

The man slams his phone down on the table in front of him and probably cracking the screen. Patton came out of the bathroom in time to see Logan fall back into the seat. The bubbly boy ran over to him.

"How do you feel, Kiddo?" Patton asked, concern clear in his voice. Logan pushed him away.

"Apologies, Patton" The other asked the question again "I do not know. Confused? Sad?" Patton pulled himself up and sat by Logan.

"Why sad?"

"I do not understand emotions, Patton. I am sorry"

"nonononooooo! Don't be sorry! It's alright!"

Patton eventually managed to calm Logan down but Logan still didn't know how he felt about Virgil, he didn't know if he accepted him or what. It was like his life had been shattered.

Then the doorbell sounded

(A/N yeah this wasn't very good ;/ but whachu gonna do???)
