Alone. Dark. And it's 9:15 in the evening.

I'm now inside of my room, preparing myself for a sleep. But I can't sleep. Many revelations happened this morning.

Dennis' broken confession; the feud between my father's half-brother; and my parent's homecoming. Yes, they have just arrived this evening.

I have been itching to ask a confirmation about the thing that Tito Yan told me.

I let a heavy breath. This can't be helped. I got to ask my Dad. Without second thoughts, I sit down and get out off my bed.

As I open the door, I go outside and head directly to my Dad's study room. I'm sure that Dad is still working at this hour.

Sir Ian tells me that my father and Mister Will Nakajima are brothers by law. And Tito Yan were really close that time. Dear Lord, I can't imagine.

But now, what happened? Why everything is so complicated?

After few walks, I reach the study room. "Dad." I call while knocking on the door.

"Come on in, princess." I hear him reply and I hurriedly enter the room.

And Mom is not around, maybe she's sleeping right now. As soon as I am inside, I bow my head for respect. The room is sort of dark, and only the accent lights and a lampshade is giving light to Dad's study table.

"What do you need, lass?" Dad asks while removing his glasses. He looks at me with a calm yet quite sterned face.

I inhale and go towards where is he sitting. Standing up straight, I face him eye to eye. "Dad, I want to know what happened between you and Sir Nakajima."

His expression is still, it remains dark and cold. After a quick moment, Dad sighs and wearily leans his back on the swivel chair. He massages the brigde of his nose. Dad looks so stressed.

"Dad." I call, pleading him to answer my question.

"Did Ian tell you?"

"Yes. I asked him, though."

"That man does surely have a big mouth." Dad murmurs.

"So you were planning to keep it a secret?"

"That was what I'd wanted." He sighs out of frustration. "But now that you know, there's no point hiding it from you."

"Does Nathan know? How about Kuya Mike?" I query in bit agitation.

"Yes, they already knew it. Apart from you, of course."

"Why did you? Am I the only one who's fighting here without any idea what's the reason? The reason why you're fighting your own brother?" I just say out of frustration.

"Keep your head cool, Hime."

"Spare me, father, but I can't." I object while exhaling a deep air. "After all this time . . . I've been connected with this matter and played with my blades without knowing everything!"

My voice raised. I don't care if Dad will punish me after this. I want a clear explanation. I won't falter. If Dad will shut me this time, I will persistently ask about this frustrating, pointless fight.

"That's why I kept it a secret, Miracle. For you not to be connected." My father answers calmly.

"How can I be not connected?" I say audibly, "I've been fighting with my whole life on the risk! I have faced deaths many times! I have experienced clinging on a thin wire just because of this worthless misunderstanding and enviousness full of crap!"
