Unexpected?

"What? I said confused.
"You have ---"Alex was cut off by the doctor walking in.

"Good morning Mrs. Romero. How are you feeling?" He said sounding very chipper.
"I have a awful headache and my neck hurts." I said. Alex looked at me and said " I'm going to go grab us breakfast. I'll be right back, okay?"
"Okay" I said
After Alex left the doctors face turned serious.
"Mrs. Romero did you know you were pregnant?" He said looking at his charts.
"N..no" I said teary eyed.
"Well congratulations your pregnant with a healthy baby. Also, you have a concussion along with whiplash. We're keeping you here for 24 hours just to be safe. If you need anything please let us know!" He said before leaving.

After he left I completely fell into tears. How did this happen? How would Alex react? I thoughts were then interrupted by Alex walking in with coffee and bagels.

"Hey how'd it go?" He asked putting the food down and sitting on the edge of the bed.
" I have whiplash and a concussion." I said crying.
"Baby why are you crying?" He said pulling me into his lap.
"Alex?"
"Yes darling?"
"I'm pregnant."

Yes I know this was a short chapter but I just wanted to update for you guys and stay tuned for Alex's reaction!!!
