Drained

6 months had passed by since the accident and Norma was now 7 months pregnant. Her stomach grew larger as our little grew bigger. Lately Norma has been getting anxious as her body grew and everything became swollen. She's afraid to go out in public because she thinks she's not pretty enough to be seen in the public eye. Today was the day we usually go grocery shopping and we also had an appointment to find out the gender of our baby.

"Norma are you ready?" I called from the hallway. Today we were going grocery shopping and we had a gender reveal ultrasound today.

"Umm..yea..just give me a minute!" She said. Little did she know I heard her voice break and her little whimper at the end. I walked into our room to find her standing in front of the mirror with hands over her face crying. I immediately walked over to her and pulled her into my arms.

"Baby what's wrong?" I said.
"My clothes are to big , I don't feel good ,and my feet hurt." She said . Hearing how much pain she was in physically and emotionally made me want to wrap her in my arms give her sweet kisses and cuddle her into my chest.
"No matter what I put on I look big and my shoes dont fit anymore" She cried.
"Come here" I said. I pulled her over to out bed. I pulled the dress that was covering a portion of her body due to her baby bump and put one of my big T- shirts over her. I then bent down and pulled off her underwear and replaced them with new more comfortable ones . I pushed her back on the bed and covered her with blankets. "Get some rest okay? I'll call the doctor and ask them to send out a nurse so we can see the baby." I said.
She nodded and closed her eyes and drifted into a peaceful sleep.

I'm soooooo sorry for not updating for a month or two . I would write some then get distracted and forget about this book. I knkw this is shory but I wanted to update you guys. I didn't proof read this so bare with me .
