"I regret flying that skiff into the Whispering woods. If I hadn't you wouldn't have found that damn sword and you would still be by my side instead of running off with those pathetic fucking princesses."
Catra stared at the drawing she and Adora drew on the blonde's bunk when they were younger. But now, Adora's drawing was clawed over and her bed ripped open when Catra realized she wasn't coming back.
And now, many months later after the Battle for Brightmoon, the new second in command was laying in her ex-best friends bed and regretting her decisions that lead to all of this.
All the pain.
All the hate.
All the anger.
Luckily for her, the Horde soliders bunk was completely empty. No Lonnie, no Kyle, no Regelio. Nobody.
Or so that what she thought. Her ears perked up when she heard the familiar sound of the large, metal door automatically lifting itself and then closing right after.
"Hey Wild cat? You in here?" Came the familiar voice that Catra had learned to get used to over the months.
"What Scorpia?" Catra said as she sat up, her voice was low and slight annoyance was laced in her tone. She just wanted to be alone, was that too much to ask?
Scorpia had grown used to Catra's cold behavior. After her close -but failed- attempt to claim Brightmoon, the feline had become distant, and ice cold. She became more harsh and strict when it came to training her team in the training room. Yet no matter how many times she tried to warm up Catra's cold heart, she never really seemed to get through to her.
"Lord Hordak wanted an update on how much progress we've made and if we're close to conquering Brightmoon." Came Scorpia's gentle voice.
Catra sighed and stood, making her way to walk past Scorpia and towards Hordak's lab. But she was stopped when she felt large claws wrap around her waist.
"Scorpia. Let me go!" Catra hissed, her hair and the fur on her tail bristling a bit.
"Wild cat, I know you miss her. But I just want you to know that I will never leave your side." Scorpia whispered. A heavy blush visible on her cheeks. Luckily ,though, Catra had her back towards her, so it would be impossible to see the white haired woman's rosy cheeks, unless she turned her head.
"Adora said something similar to that and look at what happened. Just left me here to suffer the consequences of her absence." Catra thought with pure hate.
The Magicat, however, was silent. Both her ears and head were low, her hair and tail fur was no longer bristled. It was silent for a long time; Catra still in the clawed woman's grasp until Scorpia finally let her free.
Catra then wordlessly walked out of the bunker and made her way to Hordak's lab, leaving a blushing Scorpia behind her.

"Lord Hordak. You asked for my presence?"
Catra kneeled before her leader, both her head and gaze low. Her tail swishing from side to side behind her lean and agile frame.
"Indeed I did, Catra. I wanted to try out one of those.. daily check in's you had suggested. I want an update on how close we are to taking over Brightmoon. The sooner you take over that kingdom and take their runestone, the closer I am to conquering all of Etheria." Came Hordak's deep voice, malice clear in his tone.
Catra stood firm and finally looked at her leader, who currently had his back turned to her while her faced a busted looking invention he seemed to be working on.
