The beating of drums,
The sound of my pounding heart,
The mischevious smile of his,
"You will be mine, and only mine."
I ran. I ran until I couldnt breathe anymore.
I ran until I collapsed onto the rocky dirt ground, cutting my knee open.
I screamed out into the darkness, frustrated.
"You called?" Came Dylan's voice.
"He's back," I gasped in between breaths. I knew that he was back for a year now, but if I told Dylan, I knew what he would do.
He smiled at me, "It's time. Again."
A bright light burst through the darkness as my souls were sucked into the light from above. Tears fell from my face as I was carried above. A look of shock filled Dylan's face. He turned away with sadness in his eyes.
"I love you," I heard and my world was filled with darkness, once again.
