Chapter 6 - Awakenings

I felt my body move by itself even though I had lost my sight. There was an irritating buzzing sound in my ear. Almost as if a fly was stuck in it. I tried to ignore it as best as I could but it made me even more mad.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three bullets were shot straight at me and tackled me in my thigh, chest, and stomach. I don't know how I knew but I knew it was the man. The people standing around we're pointing their guns at me. A few of them ran towards the man and tackled him down. They handcuffed him but I knew for a fact that they weren't with the Federal Government. I felt myself run towards them but stop abruptly when I heard a familiar voice.

"Aura?!" yelled Zachary from behind me. I heard a car door slam and he continued on. "Stop it! We're trying to help you!"

I felt myself turn to Zachary and felt a presence next to him. I knew it was a boy... but there was a stench of blood around him. Trying to locate the injury on the boy, I took a deep breath and my eyes finally opened. Not opened as they were closed but opened as in I can see again.

I saw everyone around me gasp and hold in their breaths. "What's wrong?" I heard myself ask. I saw Zachary's look of fear and something kicked in. I was furious and -

BOOM! Something dropped down besides me and a dagger was stabbed into my heart. I took a couple of steps back then looked up and saw that it was the girl that was with the man.

"Ehehehe. Hahahaha." I heard myself chuckle. I smiled evily at her and my eyes closed again. I couldnt control my own body. It moved and talked by itself, making me feel like I was in a lifeless body.

"WHAT? YOU SHOULD BE DEAD NOW! I STABBED YOU!" The girl screamed aloud.

"Death doesnt always do what you want." I looked up at her. I felt her fear rushing off her as she trembled and fell going backwards towards the ground. "Unless you take the life," I felt myself run towards her. It felt as if I was going faster than light. The wind blew in my hair and I heard a slicing sound. There was a gasp from everyone around me. I finally finished the sentence. "And finish the job."

Darkness came over me and my worn out, tired body. I fell backwards onto the hard cement ground, hitting my head.

Hard.

"She has been missing for 2 months already! Why arent you guys doing anything to find her?!"

I heard my mom shouting from somewhere inside my dream.

"Mom?" I asked, walking across the clouds of my dream.

"We're sorry ma'am. We've done our best to look for her but it seems like she just vanished in thin air," a man replied.

I heard my mom cry out for me. I ran around trying to look for her. Hearing her cries madr my heart ache. I wanted to find her and hug her tight. I wanted to comfort her. I needed my mom.

"Mom!" I shouted out, my voice getting more frantic. "Where are you?!"

I was running as fast as I could. I was desperate to find my mom. "Mom!" I screamed. Tears were starting to run down my face. "Mo-" I fell into a hole that was in the clouds. "Ahhh!" I screamed as I fell thousands of feet back to the grounds of the earth.
