5. Diner

In the next morning, I decided to write a letter to Beef Bowl Shop about my canceling. When I get an answer someday with agreement, I'll go there and fill out the formulars.

Today was my first day at Diner, and I was quiet excited. 'I hope the payment will be enough to live my life... I don't need luxurity, but just enough to pay my apartment and enough to eat'

I made my way to school, after I got a good start in the day and wrote the letter, I stopped by a mailbox and dropped my letter there.

Arriving at the school gate, I saw the girl from yesterday standing there. She seemed to wait for someone. I looked in her direction. 'Why does she seemes so familiar to me? Damn it!'

I hate it when I can't remember something. Good thing I'm forgetful.

She suddenly returned my gaze and then walked over to me. I gulped. 'Did I do something wrong? She was staring at me yesterday...'

When she stood infront of me, she smiled and waved. "Hey there! I saw you yesterday with Ryuji. Did you two have a date?", she smirked.

My eyes widened as I waved it off. "What?? Of course not! Wait...you know him?". I was confused.

She nodded. "Yeah! This idiot and me were in middle school together. But now we don't really talk to each other...". She seemed a bit sad and sighed. "Well, my name is Ann Takamaki. Nice to meet you!", she took my hand and shook it.

Ann Takamaki! Know it hits me like a stone. "You're Ann! Now I know why you seemed to familiar to me. I saw you in a few magazines I bought. Nice to meet you in person! I'm Y/N". I shook her hand too.

She seemed kinda surprised. "You bought my magazines?? Wow, I didn't think someone would recognize me...but I'm glad!"

'She really is nice. I didn't know a model would attend in my school. Maybe I'm able to meet interestimg people here.'

"Wanna hang out after school? We could go shopping!", Ann asked, exited. I smiled at her and nodded. "I'm in!"

"Let's exchange contact infos!"

After that, we walked together to our classes and waved goodbyes, going in our own classrooms. As I walked towards my seat, I noticed Ryuji already was there. He looked at me, with one eyebrow rosen.

I gave him the same look. "What?"

"Since when are you hangin' out with Ann?"

"So you do know her?", I asked, interested what he'd say about her.

"Yeah yeah, but that's a long time ago"

We were interrupted by the bell and our math teacher, Ms. Usami, walked into our classroom. "Class begins! Now please sit down."

*time skip*

After school, I met Ann at the schoolgate. She waved at me before I ran towards her.

"Hey Y/N! Wanna go?"

I nodded, as I remember something I should tell her.

"I have to go to work at 6PM, so until then we need to finish"

She turned towards me and gasped. "Whaaaat?? That's not enough time for shopping! Only 2 hours? Way to little time!"

I giggled at her reaction. "Don't worry Ann, I'm sure we'll be able to go shopping again another time!"

Her happy gaze turned towards me. "Yaay! Thanks Y/N! I already know we'll make good friends!". I smiled and nodded towards her as we made our way to the Underground Mall. We had a nice chat about general stuff, got to know each other about our tastes of clothing, music and several other things. We noticed our similar tastes and began to try to wear different outfits. We were happy the time we spent together, as the clock already showed 5:30PM. I stood there in a red tight, and kinda revealing dress in a changing room together with Ann, while I watched on my mobile phone for the time. I sighed.
