The next morning, Amelia was walking down the stairs, ready to go to work when she noticed that Lawanda's door was open, which it never was, and that she could see her sister's legs peeking out from behind the door.
"Wanda?" Amy asked slowly, walking towards her little sister's room and pushing the door open only to find her sister limp on the ground, her face pale. "Oh my god, Wanda?!" Amy shouted, kneeling down as she rolled her sister over and pressed her ear against her chest to listen for a heartbeat.
Thankfully, she had found it and had decided that her sister was breathing as well. It was around that time that Rory Williams rapped on the door to pick Amy up for their breakfast date. Running down the stairs and jumping the last few, Amy yanked the door open in fear. "Rory, you have to help her, I don't know what happened."
In nurse mode, Rory followed Amy up the steps and straight into Wanda's room, finding the girl unconscious on the floor. Rory instantly started going through tests and deduced that Lawanda was in a coma, somehow. "Amy, call 999, tell them you need an ambulance now."
As Amy spoke quickly with the operator, Rory checked to see if he could find any sign of injury, anything to tell him how she was put into a coma but there was nothing. It was like someone just flipped a light switch and she collapsed. She didn't even have a concussion from what Rory could tell as he held her eyelids open and checked her pupils.
Within five minutes, medics had arrived and they had loaded the girl into an ambulance, Amy hoping in back while Rory followed in his car.
Lawanda was admitted to the coma unit shortly after she arrived at the hospital as the Doctors tried to figure out what in the hell had happened to the girl to just make her collapse like that. Nothing about her made sense except the fact that she wouldn't wake up.
The problem was everything about her case made sense, they just weren't the right Doctors to know it. He was just running twelve years late.
Once landed, the Doctor quickly rushed out of the TARDIS, smoke billowing out before he shut the door and looked around. Amelia and Lawanda's house. He noted that it was bright outside, meaning he was late. Probably only a few hours though. Rushing into the house, the Doctor was frantically shouting, "Amelia! Lawanda! Girls, I worked out what it was. I know what I was missing! You've got to get out of there!" He shouted as he took the stairs two to three at a time.
He threw open Lawanda's bedroom door first, frantically looking around but not seeing anything outside of the fact that the Little Wanderer wasn't there.
Turning around, he dashed down the hall, "Amelia! Amelia, Lawanda, are you two all right? Are you there?" He asked frantically. "Prisoner Zero's here. Prisoner Zero is here! Do you understand me? Prisoner Zero is-"
Having had just finished up the finishing touches on her makeup, Amy stared into the mirror sadly. Her eyes were just barely tinged red from crying. Wanda had been in the hospital for three days, unresponsive. Whenever Amy visited, she felt like a hole had been punched through her heart.
Wanda didn't look like she was sleeping. She was pale, bags under her eyes and her usually shining dirty blonde hair was lackluster and her eyelids wouldn't open to show off her shinning light brown eyes. To top it all off, a tube was down her throat to help her breath and eat, fluids were almost constantly hooked up to her as well, just digging in the knife further that her sister was sick and no one knew why.
There was a strange sound coming from outside, but Amy passed it off as the wind as she stood up and looked at her costume for work later. She was dressed up as a policewoman but she definitely was not. Amy was a kissogram, and while most days she was fine with it, she really hated it today and just wanted to go straight to the hospital.
