Chapter 14

Harry sat up and tilted his head, giving me a puzzled look.

I let out a long sigh and covered my eyes with my palms.

" What do you mean you...?"

I almost laughed at how long it was taking him to put the pieces together, but I restrained myself from it. One of the few people that care about my feelings shouldn't be laughed at.

" You love Zayn? " he asked quietly.

" WHAT?! " A voice boomed, with an all-to-well known Doncaster accent.

I covered my ears and felt a few tears slip out of my clenched eyes. The couch shifted, indicating Harry got up.

" Woah, woah Lou, let's calm down a bit.. " Harry said softly.

" CALM DOWN?! I JUST HEARD YOU ASK MY GIRLFRIEND IF SHE LOVED ZAYN!! "

By now, I had opened my eyes but my hands still covered my ears. I glanced around and everyone was in the livingroom, unfortunately including Zayn.

He was shifting his gaze between me and Harry, trying to figure out what was going on.

" She didn't give an answer back, I-I was just wondering.. " Harry said.

Louis' fists unclenched and he looked over to me.

" Is it true? " he asked weakly.

I uncovered my ears and tugged on the sleeves of my shirt. I didn't meet his stare. I couldn't.

I heard it. His breakdown. It was the most heart wrenching things someone could ever hear in their entire lives. I heard him collapse on the ground, then begin sobbing.

I felt a few tears of my own roll down my cheeks. Someone had carried Lou upstairs, because his sobbing had disappeared.

I looked up at the group who stood around in shock. I ran my eyes over each face. Liam's jaw hung open. Niall looked really confused. Kaitlyn and Lauren where whispering something to each other.

My eyes finally met the oh-so intoxicating caramel ones. They where staring straight at me. I let my eyes roam down to his lips, which where parted slightly in shock.

I couldn't tell if he was about to cry or if he was going to jump with joy. I didn't stick around to find out though. I got up slowly and treaded up the stairs, tears still dripping off my cheeks.

I went to open the door to Louis and Harry's room so I could leave, but strong arms wrapped around my waist from behind.

" I love you too. " I voice whispered in my ear, making me feel like I could melt.

The arms let go, and Zayn intertwined his fingers with mine. He smiled down at them for a moment before pulling me into his room. Suddenly, he let go and cupped my face, looking into my eyes.

He stared at me for a while, but I stared back, never breaking his gaze.

" Why are you staring into my eyes all dramatically..?? " I whispered playfully, causing him to smile.

"I'm very attracted to your eyes. I can tell a lot just by looking into them. " he whispered back.

" Like what? "

His eyes flicked down to my lips then back up at my eyes. He bit his lip before talking again.

" You want me to do this.. "

His lips crashed into mine, sending sparks through my body. My back arched forward, moving me closer to him as he wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck.

A soft moan escaped my lips, causing him to smile into our kiss. He pulled away and picked me up bridal style before laying me down on the bed. He hovered over me before standing up and walking over to the record player.

I felt a smile spread across my face as he turned it up. It was the song. Love Song, by Tesla. The song he had shared with me just mornings ago, but it felt like ages.

" Our song. " he whispered, before attaching his lips to mine again.
