A scent lingers in my nose.
It's a comforting, but faint smell;
Barely noticeable.I check my wrist for the perfume I was wearing the night before:
Nothing.I check my hair, my clothes, my bracelets; any places a scent might linger, only to find my own body scent, not the scent I'm looking for.
Still, it's there.
However, I can't find the source.Confusion washes over me.
"But. . .
It smells so much like. . .
Him."
