Sonnet

Like the fog on an autumn morning,
Like the clouds on a summers day.
Or the raindrops which keep falling,
I wish I could just fade away.

Blow out the burning candle,
Erase what I wrote down.
Because it seems like I can't handle,
I might just sink and drown.

The boat which seemed so safe,
Now succumbs to all the waves.
Beware for it will crash,

Onto land and on the shore.
Soon, she'll be burned down to ash,
And I tumble to the floor.
