"I think you're feeling a little out of it. Come on, let's go back to sleep."
Juliane shook her head. "No. I need answers."
"You can get answers in the morning." Alessi's black eyes filled with worry. She tugged her arm again. "Come."
Juliane nodded slowly and turned back. Alessi escorted her back to the room, holding her shoulders. Juliane settled onto the floor and closed her eyes. Within minutes, she was snoring.
Alessi sighed and closed her eyes as well, bracing for the next morning.
Kalera stirred and sat up. She got up, eyes half-closed, and stumbled into the hallway. No one else was awake. It was 5:00 AM.
She leaned against the wall, a gun in her shaking hand.
A little boy began to walk towards her, no more than the age of 6. She shakily held up the pistol, and pressed the trigger.
The boy let out a squeak as he fell to the floor, unmoving. Blood began to spread.
Kalera closed her eyes and dropped her gun. She collapsed to the ground, slipping out of consciousness.
Caroline woke up and turned the corner around the door. "Kalera?"
She glanced at the boy, and then Kalera. "Kalera!"
She ran to her, her black boots thumping against the tiles.
"What did you just do?" Caroline asked in shock.
"Jamie?" Kalera whispered.
"Kalera! Jamie is gone! Snap out of it!" Caroline didn't mean it to sound harsh. "Sorry."
Kalera started to cry and held Caroline's arm as she fell to her knees. She turned to look at the boy, whispering "I'm a monster."
"Come on, let's go back." Caroline wiped a tear from Kalera's face and slightly pulled her arm.
"Ok," Kalera murmured. softly. "I'm coming. Give me a moment." Caroline got up, and Kalera followed her shortly after lightly touching the boy's shoulder.
She found Juliane sneaking into the main office. Still in shock, she didn't acknowledge her, and continued to walk to the classroom.
Suddenly, Caroline heard a loud thump. She turned and found Kalera unconscious in the middle of the hallway, hitting her head on the hard floor.
Alessi and Alena rushed out to see what happened, and gasped. Alessi checked Kalera's breathing.
"She's unconscious." Alessi observed with a hint of worry. "We can't do anything except wait."
They all carried Kalera to a couch in the teacher's lounge. They watched Kalera, and soon decided to leave and collect more supplies. Caroline stayed and watched over her.
Alessi and Alena left, planning on going to the 2nd floor to collect supplies.
Alena looked around. "Where's Juliane?"
Alessi shrugged. "I don't know where she..." She remembered the events from last night. "Oh no..."
"What?"
Alessi grabbed Alena's wrist and began to run.
"What's with all the grabbing?! Where are we going?!"
