We walk into Oxford, and head to our first class. I see young men stare at me, and I see Peter make holding my hand a bit more noticeable. We have our first class together, and we line up outside the door. A young man in front of us turns around and smiles. He has rough, blonde hair, and dazzling baby blue eyes. But I don't find him attractive. If you hadn't noticed, my baby got some muscle. This guy is like, um,.....the slice of toast I had this morning. Flat. And anyway, Peter is the nicest guy ever. I don't really care about what's on the outside, it's what's on the inside that counts. But, it is nice to have someone who you can actually rely on to lift a glass of water.

"Good Morning." He says, a broad smile on his face and his hand outstretched towards mine. I take his hand, and I feel Peter's hand on my back. He notices my ring. He has a broad British accent. "Ah, you are engaged?" He says, raising his eyebrows a little. Peter's hand moves up and down my back. "Yes, I am. To..." I say, pointing round to Peter. Peter takes his hand, and says "Peter Parker." The young man replies with "Oh, I'm so sorry. I'm Mark Cottleman. And you?" Gesturing to myself. "Oh, I'm Gwendolyn Stacy, but just Gwen for short."

We spend the rest of the day with Mark. I don't get the impression that Peter likes him much, but I like him. He tries to be smart, but it's so obvious that we are way smarter than him. We were just finishing up, when Mark comes walking up to us. Peter quickly puts his arm around my waist.
"So, there is a party on tonight at a club down the street. I was wondering if you would like to accompany me to it tonight. Both of you, of course." He says. Peter's grip keeps on tightening around my waist. "Sure." I say. "We'll be there at 9."
