Chapter 14 - Gwen's POV

A few months later....

1 week.

1 week.

1 week left until I walk down the isle.

1 week left until I wear the ring.

1 week left. Until I say "I do."

I open my eyes slowly. I look to my left. To my surprise, Peter's not there. I get up quickly, and run through to the front Room. I get a shock when Peter says "Happy....um.....1 week 'till our wedding!!" I jump into his open arms. He lifts me up and I bury my head in his shoulder. I don't know wether I'm excited for the wedding, or just calming down from the fright. Peter eventually puts me down and notices my frightened face. "Awwwwww...... Did I scare you?" He teases. "Shut up." I say, pushing him away. He wraps his arms around me from behind, and leans his head on my shoulder. I lift up my hand and ruffle his hair. He kisses my neck softly. "I love you." He whispers. "Yeah...... I guess....." I tease. He laughs softly. I'm just so excited. This time next week, we will be a married couple.

Peter is still holding me, when my phone rings. He picks it up for me, before wrapping his arms around me again. It's Marie-Jean. I put the call on loud speaker.

"Hey Gwen!!"

"Hey Marie-Jean!" I laugh.

"Only a week 'till the wedding!!!!"

"I know!!! I'm so excited!!"

"How's Peter?"

"Oh he's fine." I say, Peter kissing my neck softly.

"You ok?"

"Yeah. I'm fine. I'll see you at the party tomorrow night?"

"Yup. Bye!!!"

"Bye!!"

She hangs up on me.

Peter lets go of me. I stretch out, and yawn. "Marie-Jean has been acting really weird lately." I say as Peter sits on the couch. "Well, funny you say that. 'Cause Mark hasn't been himself either." He replies, as I sit down beside him. He puts an arm around me. "Maybe they are just nervous. They do play a big part in the wedding." I say, leaning my head on his shoulder. There is science. "I can't believe we are actually going to be married." I say. Peter sighs. "I know. I can't believe I'm going to get to spend the rest of my life with you."
