Chapter 1 "Unexpected"

Zane's pov:

 I slightly open my eyes at the loud noises of my alarm clock. I quickly turn it off and get out of bed. Great, another day doing nothing.

After taking a shower, I change into my black and grey hoodie with black pants and a black mask, I then head downstairs. Once I enter the kitchen I open the refrigerator. 

Great, no food either! I quickly grabbed my keys and head out. After about 9 minutes I arrive at Food Lion.

Walking through the soup isle I see a familiar pink haired girl. Kawaii-chan? I walk up to the girl and tap her shoulder, "Um excuse me, are you Kawaii-chan?" The girl quickly turns around with a smile that stretched from ear to ear. "Zane-kun!" She squealed as she hugged me. 

"I swear Kawaii-chan everyone in this store can hear you!" She then noticed and let go of me. "Sorry," she said. "Anyway what are you doing here?" I continued. She then let out a giggle, "Buying food silly!"

We then continued to grab the things we needed and headed out together. As I walked to my car she followed me hesitantly. "You need something?" I asked her. Her meifwa ears were against her head as she responded, "Um, do you think I could hang out with you today? My parents are uh.... busy." I lift my eyebrow in confusion. Why does she seem so sad about that? "Sure."

 Back at my house I put our groceries in the refrigerator. "I'll keep your stuff here until you leave." She then smiled, "Thanks!"

In the living room she sits on the couch as I look through my video games. Ugh, I never spend time with girls, only Aphmau. We usually play with pony plushies, but what would Kawaii-chan want to do?  I quickly grab a random game.

"So your into fighting games Zane-kun?" Kawaii-chan asked as I put the game in the PlayStation. "I'm not into video games in general, just have them in case. Are you ok with playing it?" She then responded quickly, "No, no, it's fine!"

After playing a couple rounds, with Kawaii-chan always winning, we eventually stopped for a snack break.

Kawaii-chan's pov:

 After eating a pack of cheese crackers my phone rings. "I'll be right back Zane-kun!" I then walk outside the door. I look at my phone. Mom.

I hesitantly answer the phone, "Hello?" There was a short pause then my mom answered. "I'm disappointed in you!! I told you to get groceries and you can't even come back home! Recently you've been messing up!" My ears and tail slowly droop. "I'm sorry..." My mom then got more mad. "I don't care! That doesn't cover up for your actions. I have to take care of your siblings and you are just a burden! You know what, I don't want you to return."

Before I could respond my mom hangs up. Tears started flowing down my face. "...mom." I then wipe my tears and go inside.

Zane-kun is sitting at the dinner table when I come inside. "I heard what happened.." I then started crying again as I sank down to my knees. "Hey hey, it's gonna be ok." He said as he walked to me and gave me a hug.

"No it's not! My mom doesn't want me and I have nowhere to live!" There was a long pause before Zane-kun replied, "How about you stay with me?" 

I then stopped crying. I slowly looked up to him and my face lit up. "OH THANK YOU ZANE-KUN YOU'RE THE BEST!!!" I said as I hugged him tighter.

Hello! Author here. Well, I guess you could call me a fan writer? For those of you who don't know the series Mystreet, I would reccomend you to watch it!! Also, sorry if I've confused anybody, this story isn't taken place from recent Mystreet events, it's a side story.

Anyways, I hoped you liked the chapter!!

P.S. (This is much after I finished the ff) Had to republish cuz of stupid typos :/ Well, currently editing the whole thing as this was one of my first fanfics and was poorly written -_-
