Chapter 7 "Beach"

 Zane's pov:

 This past weekend, Kawaii-chan has been so happy about going to the beach. I don't even know where It's located! And how long are we staying there?

More importantly, why is she so happy to go with me?

 "Zane-kun! I just texted Aphmau-senpai!" She said excitedly. 

 When was the last time I texted Aph?

"And?" I said bored. "We need to start packing!" She said more happy. "Alright."

I went upstairs to my bedroom and started packing. Swim trunks, t-shirts, jeans,ONE pair of shorts, and essentials.

Walking back downstairs Kawaii-chan is already there with a suitcase. "You pack fast," I said. "Not your average girl!" She said with pride.

We decided not to drive with the others. I was currently driving my black car with Kawaii-chan in the passenger seat. It was a total of a 40 minute drive, we just had 5 more minutes to go.

Kawaii-chan leaned over and turned the radio sound louder. "This is my favorite song," she stated. "What's it called?" I asked. "La Da Dee," she responded. She slouched back in her seat and hummed to the tune.

I'll remember that.

Kawaii-chan's pov:

The car turned right then we were driving on a road with palm trees surrounding the sides. The place reminds me a lot about Florida. 

I've been their once with Katlyn-sama when we wanted to have a girl's vacation. Aphmau-senpai couldn't make it that weekend.

As we continued driving there was a big sign up ahead. "Are we hear yet?" I asked. Zane-kun quickly looked at me then back at the road. "Yeah."

His car eventually came to a stop at the entrance. We had to pay to get in. It was one of those beaches where you could camp, go to the beach, and even a waterpark. 

A man inside a small box room next to the entrance asked for Zane-kun's credit card. "Alrigt have a nice day," he said. "Hope you enjoy your trip love birds." 

I could feel my face burn as Zane-kun started driving again. I glanced towards his face and he had a small blush.

As we entered there was a small area of shops and another building for travelers. Zane-kun parked the car in front of that building and we went inside. 

There was a lady at a desk inside at the front of the room. "Hello how may I help you?" She said with a kind voice. She seemed to be in her mid thirties and she had red hair. "We're here to get the keys to our room," Zane-kun said.

Before we left, he decided that we wouldn't be camping sine he didn't want too, so we decided to rent a hotel room.

"Alrighty then may I have your name and number?" Zane-kun told her his name, then phone number. "Ok, seems like you paid online, here's your keys." She then handed him a gold key. "Room for two correct?" She asked. "Yes."

"Have a nice day!" I chirped as we left to get back in the car.

We eventually made it to the hotel. It is currently 6:43 PM. On our way here, we passed a campsite and some houses. Seems like people live here.

We went up the elevator to the second floor then walked down the hall. "Here it is! Room 203," I said.

Zane-kun opened the door with the keys and stepped in. He turned on the lights as I walked in with our luggage. 

I gasped and looked at the room. The walls are white with a blue carpet. Next to the door on the left is a bathroom, and on the right is an area with a couch and a closet. Walking further into the room is a bed.

I stop. A bed. Singular, not plural. "WHAT!?" Zane-kun comes next to me. "What is it!?"

"There's only one bed!!!" He looks at where I'm looking. He immediately becomes silent. Then he talks, "Well, either we share or I'm taking the couch." I can see a slight blush behind the mask.

Well, we do live together, and I don't want to make him sleep on the couch. It doesn't look comfy anyway. "Is it okay if we share the bed?" I can feel my face heating up again. "S-sure, I'll take the left side."

I look at the bed again. The left side is facing the side of the wall, while the right side is facing the bedside table and window. There's also an 80 cm TV in front of the bed on a table.

As Zane-kun was unpacking I decide to call Aphmau-senpai. 

"Hello?" She says through the call. "Hi Aphmau-senpai! Are you here yet?" "Yeah me and Aaron arrived 2 minutes ago, sorry I didn't call, we were unpacking." "That's fine! Do you think we should meet up tomorrow? It's getting late already." "Yeah, that sounds good! I heard Katlyn and the others are almost here." "Okie dokie, goodnight Aphmau-senpai!" "Goodnight!"

Zane-kun finishes packing and I use the bathroom first then get in bed. A little bit later I hear him get in bed too, then I fall asleep.
