Chapter 5 "Movie night"

Zane's pov:

It was the next day and I was sitting on the couch when I got a text. It was from Gorroth.

Gorroth: Hey baby brother! What are you up to?

Zane🌑: Nothing much why you ask?

Gorroth: Oh, just wanted to know if your free to go with me and Laurance to see a spooky movie.

Zane🌑: Yeah no thanks.

Gorroth: Alrighty then suit yourself!

Zane put down his phone. I haven't watched a movie in awhile.. Then Zane thought about Kawaii-chan. Maybe she'd want to watch something with him? But what? I wouldn't be surprised if all she watches is cooking shows.

Maybe I should ask her. Zane then picked up his phone and started to text her.

Zane🌑: Hey Kawaii-chan. Would you be interested in watching a movie later today?

Kawaii-chan🍪: You could've gone upstairs to ask me silly, but sure! 😸

Zane🌑: What genre of movies are you interested in? Comedy? Horror? Action?

Kawaii-chan🍪: How about action?

Zane🌑: Alright then, I'll order our tickets, how does 6PM sound?

Kawaii-chan🍪: Great! Can't wait Zane-kun ;3

Zane then finally got up and went to his room to order the tickets on his computer.

Kawaii-chan's pov:

Action? I'm not that type of girl. But I didn't want Zane-kun to think I was a scaredy cat! Even horror is way to much for me. What to people like about it anyway?

I looked at the time. 4:29 PM?! Already? All I've done today is hang out with Aphmau at the grocery store. Maybe I slept in late? Now that I think about it, I woke up at 10:11 AM this morning then left at 12:02 PM, then got back at 3:34 PM. That makes sense.

I walked to my closet and looked inside. Maybe a skirt and t-shirt? Too plain. A dress? Too fancy! URGH calm down Kawaii-chan this isn't a date!!!!

A date. I haven't gone to one in forever. I don't recall going to one with Reese. But then again he never liked me. Is Zane the dating type? Has he ever had one before? Why am I thinking about this? Calm down Kawaii-chan! That's none of your business. You two are just going our as friends.. Yeah, friends.

Kawaii-chan then found a good outfit. She was going to wear a white shoulder less shirt with blue ripped jeans. Perfect. Not too fancy, not too plain. She then got ready.

Zane's pov:

After ordering the tickets I quickly get changed into my usual grey, black and white hoodie with black jeans and a mask. That should be fine right?

Then the idea of a date went through his mind. What the heck?! He slightly blushed. Maybe that wouldn't be so bad. Stop it Zane! What are you thinking?! Kawaii-chan is the shipping type not the type to get a boyfriend!

Zane quickly looked at the time. 5:01 PM. Crap! Time to go!

He then quickly went downstairs. Kawaii-chan was already there. He looked at her outfit and slightly blushed. "You look good in that." She gave a small giggle. "Thanks, you too!"

They then got in the car and drove to the movie theater. Heading inside the mall we went to the theatre area and I gave the lady at the front desk our tickets. "Head to the left then it should be to your right." She said with a bored tone. "Thanks," I replied.

Kawaii-chan's pov:

After the movie we went to get ice cream then went outside. It was dark and past 8 PM. "Thank you Zane-kun." "For what?" He had a puzzled expression. "For everything." I said as I gave him a hug. He then hugged me back. "Your welcome."
