Chapter 4 "Baking"

Kawaii-chan's pov:

Today was amazing! I probably haven't had this much fun in a while. 

We were now heading home and it was 7:30 PM. Once we got in the house I went upstairs and got a shower. Changing into my pajamas I then walk outside my room. Zane was in front of my door.

"Need anything Zane-kun?" I asked. "Not really just wanted to know if you had a good time." "Of course I did! Well, goodnight!" Zane-kun then smiled. "Goodnight."

In the morning I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I checked the time. 8:45 AM. I got out of bed and got ready for the day. 

Walking downstairs I noticed Zane-kun wasn't awake yet. So breakfast hasn't been made yet.. perfect! 

I then quickly start making a chocolate fudge cupcake. I hope he likes it! 

Zane's pov:

Opening my eyes I notice it's daylight. The window in my room casts bright light inside. But then I notice that's not what's woken me up. A delicious smell seems to fill the house. I immediately know what it is. Cupcakes!! Without thinking I race downstairs towards the amazing smell in my pj's. 

Once I'm in the kitchen I find Kawaii-chan baking the cupcake. "That smells amazing," I compliment. "Aww! Thanks Zane-kun!" She says in her usual cute voice. 

"Why aren't you baking too?" "Well, that's because I have some plans once you eat this!" Plans? I didn't know about any plans. 

Kawaii-chan's pov: 

This is going to be perfect! Once I feed the cupcake to him, he'll like it so much he'll want to bake more with me! 

Once the oven dings, I put my gloves on and take the tray with the cupcake out. As I set the cupcake on a plate I hear Zane-kun's belly grumble. I start laughing as he turns his head in embarrassment. "No need to be embarrassed!" Zane-kun let out a hmph. 

Giving him the plate he then looks at me. "What?" "Well, I don't want to take of my mask with you looking." Mask? Oh right! But why is he nervous about it? "What's the big deal?" 

He hesitates before responding. "I don't want you to see my freckles.." Freckles!? OMG THAT'S SO CUTE! A smile then crosses my face. Zane-kun notices. "Oh no you don't."

I then come forward and reach up to take his mask. He quickly swipes my arm away. Then I jump up using both hands and he swipes it away again. "Lemme see!!" I whine. "NO!" He says more irritated. 

I then reach up again but this time he shoves the cupcake in my face. "Ha! That's what you get." 

I slowly wipe the frosting off my face, my ears and tail drooping. Zane-kun sees then starts to hesitate. "I-I'm sorry." He says with a concerned look. 

I then smile mischievously. "Well, you'll never get the cupcake now!" "W-wait I-isn't there another one!?" "Nope!" I respond smiling even more. "Then how about we make more?" He asks.

"That's what I've been waiting for you to ask!"
