that night minho laid in bed deeply in vain, the connection died after he had spoken and the light from the necklace died down, the moment it stopped blinking minho was left in deep distress.

minho wanted to know more about himself, he wanted to know more about the past he was so desperate to forget and replace. why had it left such a deep scar in his heart, he really wanted to know why.
he figured out the more he stressed about it, the more he won't remember so he decided to just sleep tonight, he was really tired.

"eomma, this place doesn't look like school."
i frowned and looked at my mother who looked at me with a skeptical face,
we stopped walking and she kneeled down to remove the hair stinging my eye.

"minho, you'll, be staying here for a while okay? be a good boy when eomma leaves, they'll take care of you well here."
she smiled but i still frowned.

"will appa come back for us soon?"
i asked and my mom had a sad look on her face, she smiled again but forcedly.
"he won't be coming back any time soon minho, but don't worry."

"how about you eomma? will you come back for me soon?"

tears streamed down my mother's face, she held my hand and kissed it, placing it on her cheeks as she looked at me with a proud smile.
at that point i was confused and sad to see my mother like that.
"of course i will, i promise i'll come back for you as soon as possible. minho, my son, take care of yourself okay? you're a big boy now, i'm so blessed and proud of you never forget that. i love you dear, i'll come back for you soon i promise."

but she never came back.

at the age of seven i was left behind in an orphanage whom i was alone.
i was lost and scared not having my parents by my side, i never made friends in the two years i've spent here.

i was forced to move to another orphanage because the one i stayed at couldn't support us anymore and had to close.
the new one? didn't last long either so i had to move again.

it went like that for four years, moving to different orphanage since no one wanted to adopt me, until i was moved to another orphanage where i was adopted at last.

i lived with a rich family who wanted a son, they said i looked fitted to their visual standards, only i was too skinny and was worthless besides for what i look.

i hated them.

they'd spit out harsh words to me, made me like a doll and just someone to be their face model in public. they'd locked me in the basement with too little space that triggers my claustrophobia, whenever i go home late from school to do projects or play i'd get hit and yelled at.

whenever they'd get drunk i'd get beaten up.
i never talk back nor complain, they made me go to school and lets me eat.
but one night their drunk state has gotten bad and they'd beaten me up so bad i almost couldn't move.

when i finally got my senses i ran away from that family and got myself into another orphanage.
