"minho, you're back."
chan hyung smiled at me, already waiting before my jet landed at skz's jet lodging. i smiled and hugged him after a year of not seeing him, i was away to a spy academy for a while.
"minho hyung!"
felix and seungmin came running in and tackled me in a hug, they grew up so much since i last saw them.

"do you guys wanna go out and eat to celebrate?"
chan hyung suggested and looked at me for an answer, i smiled at him and shook my head.
"i'm kind of tired right now hyung, i just want to go back to my apartment and rest for a bit. besides, i'm joining your mission later, it seems pretty big."

"it's really dangerous hyung, even me and felix aren't allowed to go yet."
seungmin frowned and i nodded my head. i excused myself so i could go back to my room, i can feel chan hyung's concerned gaze on me but i was exhausted, he might have a lot to ask but decided not to push me and i was grateful for that.

i swiped in my card and the door unlocked, i went in and took off my shoes and threw my coat aside. i went to the bathroom and took a warm shower after a long day, i went to the mirror to wash my face, hair still drenched and water droplets decorated my skin. i looked at myself in the mirror, staring at how much i have grown through more than a year now but those eyes are still the same, they're still broken.

i went out the bathroom and got dressed in comfortable clothes after drying my hair. i plopped on the bed with a sigh, the sunset now peeking through my glass window.
i laid myself comfortably on my bed watching the sun disappear in the horizon, leaning my head against the glass with soft and slow breaths.

i'm not lonely.
i told myself again.

it had been a while since i had time to think about myself. i spent a few months being a regular agent helping chan hyung at skz until i got invited to attend a spy academy in hong kong. chan hyung wasn't really fond of the idea but i decided to go, i wanted to be stronger, i wanted to find any kind of reason to be far from this place and forget but i just couldn't.

i matured a lot, that was certain, i changed but what i feel was still there.

i'm not lonely.

i'm just empty.

that's when i finally accepted that realization i ignored for a year now, i was always empty, even before what had happened the last few years.

time passed by, night came and i heard my caller ring and i opened it revealing tonight's mission i was told on my way back but not knowing what about.
"the first battle of sopa."
i stopped in my tracks. sopa.

i dressed up in my uniform and rushed to skz's building where everyone were hustling around, it seems to be a really serious mission.
seungmin and felix were sent back into their rooms being that they were too young to go on this field mission that required all jyp agents to come.
i met up with chan hyung who was sorting files and he looked at me before placing them down.
"the first battle has begun, the other agencies are already on their way, we have to go."
i nodded and followed after him.

i met up with this new agent named seo changbin who was a year younger than me, seems like a punk but i didn't mind since we had to be partners for this mission.
"hey, agent lee know, just because you're one of the best, doesn't mean i'll lose to you."
he told me and i grinned. never mind, i like his attitude.
"i'll look forward to it, agent O811, spearb."
