The same story kept on

-Whatcha thinking bout?- Pidge asked
-Nothing in particular-
-cool- She said- wanna do something?-
-we can.... play some video games- Lance suggested
-Sure!- Pidge seemed excited, Lance blushed a bit- What video games do you have?-
-Well, my favorite is this one- Lance said- but I haven't got time to start it yet-
Pidge was shocked, she gasped in awe
-Killbot Phantasm-
-Yes!- Lance was smiling ear to ear- you know it?-
-I.love.that.game!!!!!!-
- Well then, let's play-
They preped everything and just when they were about to start the game...

The lights went out

-COME ON!!- The short one yelled
-WHYYYY- Lance was heartbroken
-The universe hates us-
-What do we do now?-
-I don't know...-She checked her phone and saw it was 11:38pm- It's still early-
-Hey!- Lance got an idea- There's an arcade not so far away-
-Yes!- Pidge interrupted- Just, Yes!-

They got their jackets and left.
The arcade was about fifteen blocks away. It was pretty cold and Pidge was starting to shiver.
-Hey, do you want my jacket?-
-No, no, I'm okay-
-Yo don't look it-
-I insist-
-But I insist harder-
She laughed and accepted. His jacket was actually really comfortable, and matched her outfit. It had a very unique smell, as if it was just taken out of the dryer but instead of the dryer it was actually the oven and it was right next to the pizza that was about to be served to a very happy big family.

They got to the arcade. They played around for a while until they got hungry. Pidge said they could go get pizza at a random fast food place. But Lance has a better idea.
-I know this really cool restaurant that's Italian food and they have the best pizza ever- He sold this place to her the second he said restaurant, she was really hungry- It's a bit far from here so I thought we could go back get the car and get going-
-I'm all for that- she was pretty tired so she could nap while they were driving.

That's what she did. Lance offered her sitting on the back of the car so she could use the seats as a bed. She was still wearing his jacket even though she was covered with a light blanket she had asked to borrow from his house.

They stopped at a gas station. She woke up.
-What happened?- Pidge asked
-I.... may have..... gotten us lost-
-Oh my lord- she looked at him with a face of amusement and disbelief- Well, if you don't mind, I'm gonna go in there and buy myself some snacks-
She pointed at a 7/11 that was right there.
She got her wallet from the car and bought two slurpees, a bag of Doritos, some flaming hot Cheetos, and peanut butter m&ms.

She got in the car, this time in the front seat and offered him a slurpee.
-Uh! I want the blue one!-
He looked like an excited little kid, pretty adorable.
-I've got google maps and it says we'll be there in like half an hour or so- Lance told her- Do you wanna go back?-
- No!- Pidge said- I may have snacks, but I want pizza!-
- Kay then-

They got some music playing in a not so loud volume so they could still hear each other's voices.
They talked about everything again. Lance found out Pidge's real name.
-Why do people call you Pidge?-
-Well, my brother calls me that and it really stuck for some people-
-Cool, well, with my last name it's kind of the same-
-huh?-
-My real surname is Serrano but some friends jokingly started calling me Lance McClain, and I thought it sounded cool-
- Why?-
-Well, young me thought that McClain would make me look smoother for... "Picking up chicks"-
-WOW, I'm dead- she said while laughing.

They got to the restaurant and it was closed.
They decided to spend the night at a hotel next to it
