We stood in the airport line for our plane to arrive. Ash was cuddled up behind me, hands around my waist, my back pressed against his chest. He snuggled his face into my neck. I smiled as I took in our surrounding's. The walls were painted an ugly vomit green. The paint peeling off. The tiles were an off white, dirty with shoe prints. The windows however, were big and clean, viewing airplanes landing and taking off into the distance.
"When is the plane going to land? Im so tired, I need a nap." He mumbled into my neck. I giggled at his sudden tiredness, he chuckled at my giggle. His hot breath tickled my neck hair, making me shiver. He suddenly tensed. His head snapped up, frantically looking around us. His hold is tighter than before.
"What are you looking for?" I asked nervously glancing around us, I face him. He looks behind me and holds me so I'm facing him.
"Do you trust me?" He asked staring over my head.
"What? What's wrong Ash?" I asked trying to glance behind me.
"Do you?" He held me tighter in that position.
"Yes, yes of course." I held onto his tensed arms. He looked down on me before crashing his lips to mine. I pulled him closer, only to be pushed backwards.
"Run." He demanded pushing me behind him. I turned to look at him but he was gone, running down the airport aisles opposite of me. Confused I ran down the hall next to me and into the guys bathroom. What was going on? Why were we running? I didn't understand what was coming, maybe more demon children?
"Miles. How are you?" An honeyed voice asked before I blacked out.
A muffled voice gets closer, my eyes are anchor heavy. There's a stinging sensation on my nose. Something sticky on my mouth and chin. My body's heavy like my eye lids. I move, try to anyway. I'm held together my something rough and heavy.
"I wouldn't move if I were you. The rope will shred your skin. Plus you lost alot of blood. Moving only makes it worse. " A young voice taunted by my ear. His hands are warm, hot even. Strong grip on my shoulders as he pulls me up. My eye lids are still heavy but I ripped them open and instantly regret it. My head spins as I look around.
I'm still in the airport, I can tell because the same terrible vomit green color is still painted on the walls. I was alone, other than the guy behind me. We were in a big room lined with boxes and racks. Suitcase carriers and transportation racks, that's what they were."Where are we going?" I asked stumbling against his strong hands. They pushed me forward but never letting me go.
"Shut up kid. We're waiting for him." He mumbled. Suddenly there was a loud popping noise and six dark figures walked closer to us.
"Where is S.L.? He was supposed to get him." The guy behind me asked. The dark figure stepped into the only light hanging above me. The dark creatures were nasty looking. All red colored, their eyes black. Burns and scars covered their bodies. Dried blood everywhere. Horns; of all sizes, sat on their heads and down their backs. They wore ripped clothing. What we're they exactly? Demons. They were demons."He couldn't come. He had family problems to sort out." One smiled, showing rotten sharp teeth. Another stepped forward.
"He told us to get rid of him. He got what he wanted, he's no longer needed." He smiled."What? What did he get better than Miles?" The guy asked stepping in front of me. He didn't look like those demons. I mean he had red skin and black eyes but he was young, his teeth white, his skin smooth other than little scars and burns.
"Ash came home. Told S.L. he'd take over Hell like his old dad. S.L. was too happy, wanted Ash's only distraction dead." They all smiled now, rotten teeth shown."Fine. Take him. Just make sure S.L knows I had him first." The guy pushed me forward, this time his hands let go and untied me. I shivered to the cold spots where his hot hands left. I never realized how cold it really was.
"Sure kid. Why don't you go tell him yourself while we deal with Miles here?" They taunt him. He rolled his black eyes before walking out the door.
They turned to me, their rotten teeth shown in a mischievous smile. Their red hands had long black claws, they reached for me as they stepped forwards. I wasn't tied to anything or anyone. I could run, but where would I go? I don't know where exactly I am, other than the airport. How many hallways was I down? How many turns and twists do I take? There is no escape, this is my fate. I will surrender, why fight when I can't win? Yet, I can't help but wonder if Ash really was S.L.s son. Would Ash take over Hell and leave me here to die? We barely know each other, so maybe.
"No one can help you now, Miles." One stepped forward and gripped my left tightly. His claws impaling through my shoulder. I scream out in pain, feeling my muscles ripping apart. They smile, a toxic smile. Clearly enjoying my screams. Another demon scurries closer, shoving a claw deep into my gut, this time however no screams leave my mouth. Blood pours from it. The bitter taste of iron. They attack me at all once, one biting my leg, the other my arm, one on my neck and one on my stomach. Two stood over, laughing at my ear-splitting screams. The taste of iron soon fills my throat, I'm choking on my own blood. Tears stream down my face, I choke once more before blacking out.
Sorry guys! I had to add a better ending to this chapter, dont hate me!
Have fun reding.
