There are secrets we don't tell, even to the closest people. This secret I have to though. Last night was crazy! Demon children tried to kill Michael and Ms. Davis in their sleep but because Hazel, John, Andy and Erin were on watch, no one got killed. As for being hurt, that was something that did happen. Hazel got knocked out cold by an acid ball made by one of the demon children. Andy's arm was cut so many times Ash had to sit with him for 45 minutes to heal it. Hazel is still knocked out cold but she's safe.
But that's not the secret, the secret is that last night there was a voice talking to me, warning me in my head. It was a guy, an older guy and is voice was cold and demanding. He told me things about Ash, Andy and Erin and he threatened my family's life.
I should tell them, but how? How do you tell someone that someone talks to you in your head? The same person who has powers and is dating a half demon, half angel boy. My life couldn't get any weirder.
"Is she going to be ok?" John asked Ash for the thousandth time. Ash didn't answer him but check Hazel's head once more before closing the car door. She laid in the front passenger seat, unconscious, Mrs. Davis and Michael sat in the back.
"She'll be ok. But we can't take her on the plane. How are we going to get back home?" Ash said as Erin and Andy came over. How were we all going to go home? We can leave her behind alone, or with someone. It was a risk. A risk I know John is willing to take.
"I'll stay with her." John said as he got into the car.
"I don't know where I'll go but I do know that she will stay with me." He said as he pushed the hair from her face gently.
"There's something I have to tell you guys before we leave. Its not bad, well, maybe it is. But that's not the case. I have to tell you cause its important." I rambled nervously. Ash stood in front of me with both hand on each of shoulders.
"What could it possibly be?" he wondered.
"Last night. There was a voice. He talked to me." I confessed quietly. Ash backed up and leaned against the car.
"What did it say?" Andy questioned out of interest. His right arm was healed but you could still see where it was torn. A long big scar trailed from the end of his shoulder to the tip of his hand, with baby scars all around it. Erin never left his side since then. She had mumbled something about how stupid guys are. Which only made us laugh.
"He was an older guy, a deep voice, he gave me the chills." I explained hunching my shoulders with the memory of his voice. Ash stared at me for a second before engulfing me into a hug.
"We'll find who ever this guy is. Don't worry on what he said." Ash chattered. I couldn't meet his eyes, nor their either. It wasn't just that there was someone trying to tell me something, it was what was said of course, that in fact, makes me uncomfortable.
"That's not all is it?" Erin questioned. She stepped closer to me and nudged Ash behind her.
"What did he say to you?" she raged. Ash and Andy stepping closer behind her.
"He said not to trust you guys. Because your angels and demons. And that you guys are only using me." I blurted out. Eye contact is not my best skill during these events. Well, I haven't had a "boyfriend" that was half angel and demon, had someone talking to me in my head, or have powers before but in awkward situations which is my everyday life, you get used to it. Ash stepped in front of me.
"Do you believe him?" he urged me. His eyes were grey blue not his usual blue. It was an aquarium blue. They we're clear and striking. How can I tell him I did, just a second of believing something like that will ruin us; Or whatever we are.
All I could do is nod my head and plead with my eyes. Andy and Erin got into the car and waited for us. I got into the passenger seat and Ash got into the drivers; slamming his door.
We start off to the airport, wishing I never said anything.
