Never Ending Fear

~Chapter 2~

~Kaito's POV~

I smiled over at little Yuki, who was befriending the loner. She was so sweet for a little girl. Even I wasn't that nice as a kid. She saw me and smiled and waved slightly. I looked over at Meiko and she was glaring at the little one. 

"Meiko, is something wrong?" I asked her and her glare faded.

"Er... uh no! of course not!" Meiko said plastering on a fake smile and looking up at me.

"Okay!~" I replied and leaned in and gave her a peck on the check, which she giggled in return.

She seemed so angry at the young one though...

~Lily's POV~ 

I smiled at the little one as I felt tears form in my eyes. I was always alone, my entire life. Nobody ever tried to talk to me, except that kind Luka. She was the only one really kind enough to talk to me, and even seemed to care a little bit. It was so hard to go on living without someone to keep you going. I smiled as she Yuki told me about Kindergarten, and how she loved to color and draw. 

"I like to draw too, you know," I replied. Her eyes lit up.

"You do?!?" She asked, I laughed. 

"Yeah I draw too, and sometimes color" I replied.

Yuki grinned with that innocent smile of hers. "You're SO COOL!!" She said.

I sighed, "Other people don't seem to think so..." I trailed off.

Yuki's reaction was so surprised, I almost felt bad that I told her. "But-but-but you're awesome!" Yuki said.

I sighed in response, "Kid, there's such a thing as rumors, and believe me, they'll ruin your life. So if someone starts a rumor about you tell me and I'll make sure you don't end up like me..." 

Yuki nodded a bit glumly and looked over at Luka and Miku. Luka had her head down on the desk blushing as Miku was laughing really hard. 

"You wanna go talk to them?" I asked, Yuki smiled.

"No, I just think Luka's really pretty...." Yuki replied looking down at her feet rather shamefully.

I smiled at her, "That's not a bad thing."

 Yuki looked up at me with questioning eyes, "It isn't?" She asked.

"Of course not! If you don't believe me, you should go tell her" I replied with a smile. 

"I believe you, I don't wanna tell her, I'll get embarrassed!" Yuki said.

"You won't get embarrassed, if anything you'll feel better" I retorted with a smirk.

"But, if you're a girl and you tell another girl that they're pretty, isn't that... wrong?" She asked seeming a bit confused.

"Not if it's the truth and you don't mean it in that way," I answered. 

She put a finger to her lips in thought then looked up and smiled brightly, "Okay! I'll go tell her!" Yuki said. I smiled as she turned and started walking over to Luka and Miku as Miku and Luka chatted.

~Yuki's POV~

I smiled  as I skipped over to where they were as I heard Onii-chan start talking to Lily. I think she's my friend... Right? She seemed happy when I was talking to her so I figured... Oh well. I walked up behind the two as Miku just said something I couldn't hear and Luka smiled and laughed and Miku laughed as well. They seemed like best friends. I tapped Luka on the back keeping my smile on my face. She turned confused, then saw me and smiled, "Oh hey Yuki." She said. I smiled back and waved. Then I gulped and took a deep breath.

"You're really pretty!" I said politely.

~Luka's POV~

She thought I was pretty? I felt my face heat up really fast.

"Y-Yuki, that's a-awfully sweet of you but believe me, I'm no super model..." I said quickly, getting embarrassed because of my pink face. Miku elbowed me.

"Aw come on! You know it deep down, don't you?" Miku asked.

"No." I replied simply with a plain face. How could somebody be that confident and that self-centered? 

Miku looked at me curiously, "How?" She asked.

"How do you expect me to know why I don't think something?" I replied. 

Miku snickered, "I guess you're right." She said.

Yuki looked at me and Miku and kept her smile up, something I always found hard to do...

"I'm gonna g-" Yuki started but was cut off by Lily.

"You don't have to" She said calmly

Yuki looked up at her and smiled and hugged her. She really seemed to idolize Lily. I smiled at them, they were so sweet! Lily and Yuki both! Lily was actually really nice once you got to know her. But most people didn't because some bitches went around telling rumors that she was a slut, and had no respect for anybody. But the truth is it's exactly the opposite.

They walked off Yuki with Kiyoteru I sighed dreamily as he walked off and Miku smirked and giggled. 

"You enjoying the view Luka?" Miku asked snapping me back to reality. I blushed realizing I was staring. 

"E-er u-uh n-no?" I stuttered my cheeks heating up once again. Miku just laughed she always enjoyed making fun of me when I talked about, looked at, or even thought about him. Or looked like I was thinking about at him.

Miku smiled, "You know I'm just teasing you" She said.

"Yeah I know" I said putting on a smile and smiling at her. When I heard someone say, "Okay guys gather around I've got something we can do!" I laughed realizing it was Gumi. 

"And what's that?" Miku asked looking towards the girl.

"It's a charm!" She replied to Miku's question.

A/N: Hey guys, sorry I know it's Tuesday and I realized Mondays are really busy sooo I'm gonna try to update TUESDAYS and Fridays just for the better good! And they'll be better quality than if I update on Mondays. Sooo yeah. Anyways, thanks guys ily and I'll see you in the next update!
