Never Ending Fear

~Chapter 4~

~Luka's POV~        

I woke up looking at the ceiling. It was dirty and dusty. There seemed to be quite a few cobwebs in the corner as well... Where was I? I stood up and looked around I saw a purple-haired teen on the ground.

"Why the hell am I stuck with him of all people?" I muttered angrily. I sat down against a wall and sighed, crossing my arms over my chest. I looked at the wall and looked around the rather small room.

"This is gonna be a loooong wait..." I muttered.

~Len's POV~

I sat up rubbing moaning. My head and left ankle hurt. I tried to stand up but I just fell whenever I tried to put weight on my ankle. 

"OWWWW!" I yelped falling to the ground and hitting my head on a dusty floorboard. 

"Len!" I heard someone exclaim. I looked up and saw Kaito rushing towards me. 

"K-Kaito," I said softly.

He smiled at me, "Are you alright?" He asked with his sparkling blue eyes. 

I looked back at my ankle. "Uh, I think when we fell into that dark abyss I landed on my ankle pretty awkwardly." I replied.

"Well, then maybe we should go to the infirmary," Kaito suggested. 

"Well, this doesn't seem like the high school," I replied, "We might need to search a bit?" 

"Hm... yeah" Kaito replied and held out a hand for me to take, to help me up.

I smiled and took it. He hefted me up and put my arm around his shoulder, making me blush. 

"Kaito..." I said quietly, looking down at my feet sheepishly.

"Hm? What is it Len?" Kaito asked as we started walking.

"You don't have to do this, you know," I told him looking down at my swollen ankle.

"Do what?" Kaito asked looking down at me.

"You don't have to keep lying to Meiko"

"But if I don't she'll be heartbroken, to know I was just playing her for a sap!"

I sighed, "Yeah, but you're gonna have to tell her soon." I replied.

"I know, but you still have to tell Rin" Kaito retorted.

I snickered, "She won't ever have to know."

~Meiko's POV~

I sat up and winced. There was a sharp pain in my stomach. I looked down at my stomach and saw a stream of blood running down my stomch. 

"What the..." I muttered and put my finger to the wound but yelped and pulled away quickly.

The blood kept streaming down at a steady pace. If I didn't do something soon, I would die. I looked around for something, anything that could stop the bleeding. I saw a cabinet that had a bandage in it. If I could just... get up... I tried to stand up but I slipped and fell forwards onto my chest. 

"OWWWW!" I whined and pulled myself up again and took a few steps forward, then held onto the wall for support. I slowly made my way over to the cabinet. I looked down at my hand and made a fist. This was gonna hurt.

 ~Miku's POV~

"Owwww..." I groaned as I stood up putting a hand to my head. What happened? Oh right... the earthquake... I looked around and saw a boy with a mop of brown hair on his head. He was rather attractive but... I had my eyes set on someone else. I walked over to him, and shook him gently.

"Wakey Wakey," I said softly.

"H-Huh? Ooohhhhh my heeeeaaad..." He groaned sitting up. I ran a hand through my teal hair, getting self-conscious because of how messy his was. 

"M-Miku..." He groaned.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Where are we?"

"To be honest, I don't quite know. I just passed out during the Earthquake and-"

"The earthquake.. YUKI!! WHAT ABOUT YUKI?! IS SHE OKAY?!" He suddenly yelled.

"I'm sure she's fine" I replied soothingly. "Calm down, she's fine."

"Yeah... Yeah..." He said sleepily.

"And I woke up here," I finished, "Then I saw you and figured I should wake you up too." 

He nodded, "It was a smart thing to do," He replied. I smiled at him.

"We can go find Luka and Yuki together!" I proclaimed proudly. 

He looked at me, "We look for Yuki first," He said

"No, Luka" I replied.

"Yuki"

"Luka"

"Yuki!" 

"Luka!" 

"YUKI"

"LUKA"

"YUKI!"

"LUKA!"

"YU-" He started when I stopped him.

"How about we just look for both at the same time?" I suggested. 

"That's better than fighting about it," He replied. 

He stood up and then held out his hand for me to take and stand up. Which I did, but I was quite nauseous. And after all we'd been through it was okay that we were nauseous. I smiled at Kiyoteru, which he returned. And we walked out of there. We walked out of the room and into the hallway. Where we looked down each way. One way was crumbled and there was just a deep, dark, abyss. And the other way there was a hallway. We walked down the hallway until we heard a scream. 

"ONII-CHANNNNNN"
