I Can't Help Falling In Love With You

Chapter 3: One Cappuccino Please

Its been four days  of Izuku trying to avoid  Katsuki within the school premises. The first day Izuku saw Katsuki roaming around the classroom hallways and having a chat with some of the teachers. After work that same day Izuku colleagues in the preschool started to ask him questions about the handsome doctor if he was divorced or currently dating someone which Izuku just shook his head and told them that he dont know the answers for their questions. His workmates told him that Katsuki is looking for him the ash blond told them that  two of them used to be childhood friends and that he wants to have a chat and catch up  with Izuku.
For the past four days it was  Kirishima that was given the short straw  he'd had been complaining to Izuku that everytime Katsuki saw him he would be pulled into a corner and Bakugou would insist that Kirishima tells him where he could find Izuku.

Which the red hair would always say the same thing to Katsuki.
"its not my responsibility  to tell you where he is"

At the fifth day Izuku noticed that it wasn't Katsuki that send off the twins in the school but their nanny. For the whole day Izuku go about his daily routine. Going to his classes and teaching the kids. It was late in the afternoon and it was time for the children to be picked up by their parents or guardians.
Izuku heard a commotion on the playground as he peek on his office window which hasa clear view of the playground. Midoriya saw Hinata Bakugou slapping one of the kids on their face. Izukus eyes widened and he ran as fast as he could to the playground. When he arrived at the scene the only people left in the playground was the Bakugou twins and the kid that got slapped in the face. Izuku walks past the Bakugou twins and knelt in front the blond haired child who was about to cry.
"Are you okay Monoma" Izuku asked the child in a kind reassuring voice. Izuku pulled his handerkerchief in his pocket and use it the dry the tears that are now flowing on the kids cheeks. Izuku let out a deep sigh.
" we have to tell your parents what happened today"

"Thanks the god it was not Bakugou that we had to talk to. Bet that guy would start shouting and cursing everyone in the room if he saw his kids getting scolded. The nanny was pretty chill" Kirishima let a sigh of relief escape his lips

"Yeah" Izuku's eyes followed  the Bakugou twins as the two children were being escorted by their nanny out of the school building.

"Those twins are really Bakugou's kids. Especially Hinata phew that young girl reminds me of Bakugou when he was in highschool that guy was so hot tempered. What happened anyway?"
Izuku crosses his arms.

"Apparently Monoma pulled Minato's hair and started dragging the boy to the playground and demanding the kid to play with him. I guess it angered Hinata so she decided to slap Monoma to stop the kid on pulling Minato hair"

"Yikes, like father like daughter huh"

"What do you mean by that" izuku eyed kirishima with a curious look

"Anyway I have to go now I have a date with Ashido. Good work today" Kirishima waves Izuku goodbye
"Yeah you too. Bye" Izuku waves back

The sun is shining and the sky is clear Izuku stared at his laptop he was typing his lesson plan for the next week classes. Izuku decided that today is such a lovely day it would be a waste to just stay and be copped up on his gloomy apartment. And he was craving a cup of cappuccino from the cafe he just recently discovered.

"One cappuccino please" Izuku smiled at the cashier. As he was about to hand over his payment. Izuku heard a familiar voice.
"Black coffee for me, I'll pay for the both of us" Izuku turned his head around to look at the owner of the voice. The man standing behind him was none other than Katsuki Bakugou. Izuku can feel his heart beating faster Midoriya wanted to ran away at that moment. But then a hand suddenly wrapped around his wrist making Izuku flinch with surprise.

"Oh Doctor Bakugou. Are you gonna pay in cash or card" within seconds Izuku saw Bakugou pulling a card from his pants and handed it over to the cashier.

"Dont be silly momo-chan I cant be handling cash when I'm working" Katsuki smiles at the woman standing behind cashier. Izuku can see a blush forming in Momo-chan's cheeks.

"Here you are, I'll call your name when your drinks are ready" she handed back Katsuki card back to him.

"Thanks" Katsuki uttered as he insert the card back on his pants pockets.

Katsuki walks toward one of the tables  practically dragging Izuku on the corner of the cafe. Izuku tried to shake Katsuki's hands but the ash blond grip was getting tighter the more Izuku struggled.

"Hear sit down" Katsuki let's  go of Izuku wrists and pulled a chair for Izuku to sit.
Katsuki sits on the opposite of Izuku. The two male now faces each other. Izuku can feel the heat of Katsuki stares. Izuku couldn't focus he is far to nervous to say anything. The greanette keeps on looking down at his feet.

"Why don't you look at me?Do you hate me that much?" Izuku flinches as he felt Katsuki hand on his chin lifting Izuku head up. Forcing Izuku to lock eyes with Katsuki
Izuku couldnt help himself as he looks at Katsuki ruby red eyes. It was the same piercing gaze that  once made izuku so weak.

"I-i don't know" Izuku lowers his gaze

Katsuki lets go of Izuku chin.

"I'm sorry about the trouble my twins got into yesterday. I wasn't able to come. I was kinda busy. But rest assured  when i got home that night a had a long talk with them. And Hinata promised that she would never do it again" katsuki laughs

"Doctor Bakugou your drinks are ready"

" okay" Katsuki stood up and walks toward the counter.

Izuku eyes followed Katsuki. Katsuki Bakugou still has spiky ash blond hair the same ruby eyes. He looks much taller now than when Izuku last saw him in highschool. Izuku can pretty much guess that underneath that white coat and black shirt katsuki is wearing he is quite muscular. Izuku used to love looking at katsuki broad shoulder and his wide back when they were still in highschool. But right now as Izuku stares at Katsuki back it looks the same yet he can feel it was quite different. Izuku smiles at the thought.

It was the same but now that Katsuki grew up it was not the back of someone who lives his life foolishly not caring about consequences. But the back of someone who had experience the ups and downs of life. Someone that made mistake but man enough to own up to his errors and took responsibility . It was the back of Katsuki Bakugou, a doctor, a father and the man izuku fell in love  with and the same man that broke his heart years ago. Izuku can feel his hands started to shake. His heartbeat starting to beat faster. His whole body heating up. The voices and laughter of  the people inside the cafe started to vanish until he can't hear anything else but his heartbeat. As if time stops for izuku the only person he can see inside the cafe was Katsuki.
Izuku lips started to shake as he realize what he is feeling right now. All the emotions that Izuku had bottled up and sealed away deep on his heart for years started to burst all at once. Izuku clutches his chest with his hands. His heart was beating so hard he could feel the loud thumping its almost like his heart was trying to escape his chest. Izuku closes his eyes taking deep breaths trying to calm himself down. Tears already started to run down his cheeks.
Izuku felt a warm hands cups his face.

"Are you okay?"

 Midoriya opened his eyes and saw the look on katsuki face. Katsuki's worried face made Izuku remembered his old memories when him and Katsuki were still kids. How often Izuku fell and get scrapes and bruises on his body and how Katsuki would frown at him and tell him that Izuku is making him worried. Izuku always thought the way Katsuki eyebrows drawn together when he looks worried was one of the reason Izuku fell in love with him.

"Yeah, im okay..umm I have to go now. I forgot i have to do something" Izuku mumbles. Katsuki hands fell to his side he pulled a notepad and started writing. He then rips the paper giving it to Izuku.

"Thats my personal number. Call me or text me. Just..if you have the time contact me"

Katsuki stared at the green hair outside the cafe as it slowly disappears within the crowd. Katsuki smiles at the two coffees on the table.

"Deku, you never changed huh" Katsuki took a sip of the cappuccino.

"So sweet"
