"Nigga stop cheating" Glizz yelled at the tv
"If you don't shut you ass up, Nigga my girl in there sleeping" I mugged him
"My fault, you say it like she a newborn baby or some shit" He chuckled
"Nah she just been working her ass off at school lately to get in all her missing work from this semester" I told him still focused on the tv
"You told her about the song" He asked
"Nah I ain't wanna tell her just yet, I'm waiting on the right time" I spoke
"Nigga you always do that" He shook his head
"Do what" I questioned
"You always hide shit from her then she got to find out about it on her own"
"I'm not hiding it, I just want to surprise her" I huffed
"Yeah what ever, I'm about to bounce gotta to wash the dishes before mama come home" He put down the controller
"Ahh man, Mama Fae gonna beat your ass" I teased turning off the game system
"Nigga shut up" I bumped into my shoulder
"Aye, call me when you get home lil nigga" I spoke napping him up

Once he left I went up to Maras bed room and watched as she spread out on her bed
Her mom was supposed to come back home yesterday but something came up so she should be home In the next 4 days
I knew she been missing her mama, cuz shit i miss the hell out of mine
I haven't spoken to my Mom since the whole incident with my dad
It's fucking crazy tho. What mother abandons they're child for a man who left them
When my dad left I was happy. But of course my mom was devastated
My father and I never really had a father and son relationship and I never tried to build one
"Hey mamas how was your sleep" I asked Mara as she stretched
"It was definitely what I needed" She yawned laying on my shoulder
"Good now that your all awake , I want you to go get dressed" I looked at her on my shoulder
"For why?"
"First of all.... I know your ass did not just say for why" I looked at her with a straight face
"For what ?" She giggled changing her wording
" I wanna go to the mall to pick up some clothes and stuff" I said as she got out of the bed walking into the bathroom
"Give me 2 hours " she said before closing the door
"Oh hell nah, 30 minutes"
"Babe please I need to do my makeup" She spoke from inside the bathroom
"I told you, you don't need that shit" I didn't get a reply
