You've been on my mind more than the usual, how's everything? Remember when you couldn't get a nigga to sit down and read a book now that's all I've been doing while inside here—Donald Goines's pen game is amazing. His writing keeps me up most nights but also The Autobiography of Malcolm x and The Miseducation of the Negro. In here you have to keep your mind focused on something in order to keep sane. It's either working out, reading, or both when there's free time to. Also, in case you haven't peeped from the way that I started this letter I've been looking into Islam and I'm thinking about converting. Some brothers inside have and it seems to really have changed them now they're on their way out which is how I'm trying to be anyway I'll call you tomorrow—pick up.
