ALWAYS AND FOREVER

Chapter 13

Fenna

We're strolling along a park in the outskirts of the city. We went to church then decided to go chill in the park.

“I'm already tired babe. Let's lie on this grass!”

I suggest after seeing another couple kissing on the grass.

We spot a secluded area and make ourselves comfortable.

“I love this place already. It's cool and serene...”

“Yes it is....Fenna..”

“Mmmmmh...”

“I've been intending to tell you this. I think it'll be wise if go back to my cab business now that you know how the business goes!”

This catches me off guard. I didn't expect such from him. I just remain silent, without saying anything.

“Have I said something bad? You're just staring into space without talking!”

“This is because I don't want you to leave my side. I'm used to you being on my side honey!”

I voice my concerns.

“But I'll be dropping you to the house and picking you up in the evening!”

“I won't allow you to be far from me. Please let's stop this discussion. You've hurt me already!”
Tears are already welling up in my eyes. I'm so angry because he wants to be staying away from me the whole day. Hell no! I won't allow that.

“It's alright honey. I won't go. We'll work together till you say have enough of me...”

“...and I'll never have enough of my man....never!”

“That's my baby. Now, smile for daddy!”

I face him and give him a hearty smile.

He uses that chance to draw me near him and places his lips on mine.

“I love you so much honey. You know why I want to stay away from you?”

“Tell me..but, no chance!”

“It's because of the temptations. How will I live with you in a secluded office without being tempted to pin you on the wall and kiss the hell out of you? How will I curb the urge to take you on the office table?”

I just remain mum. I don't want to hurt him. I so much want to help him but I just can't. I don't want him to see me as cheap. We made our intentions and feelings known just yesterday!

“Babe...I'm sure you're not ready and I won't push you. But just understand me. I'm a man and temptations will be excess especially when near you!”

I feel his heartbeat against mine.
His erection bulging in his trouser.

I'm sad that I can't help him. Not just yet. First, I don't know his status, then...I don't want to get pregnant. Not just yet...

“I'm unable to control myself when near you! Say something babe!”

“What do you think we should do honey?”
I finally ask him.

“I have an idea. I know you want me as much as I do. We're just human honey. Let's go to a private hospital and get a thorough check up.... ”

“That's a good idea...but what about getting pregnant?”

“Hahahaa...now I know...someone has phobia for pregnancy!”

He says teasing me.

He stops laughing when he sees the seriousness on my face.

“Don't worry, you'll get a jab or something. The do will advise accordingly!”

I sigh with relief as we exit the hospital premises.

“That wasn't hard, was it?”

I observe as Nolan  drives towards my house.

We've already been tested and we're good health wise. I've also ended up settling for the pill because that's what the doctor has advised.

“Don't skip a day...”

The doctor's words keep on playing in my mind.

I'm not a forgetful person and I'm sure I'll never forget popping them.

“It was so easy darling...”

He says as he concentrates on the road, humming to a tune alongside the stereo.

He seems do happy.
I'm sure were consummating our love affair today. I can't just wait any longer! No!

My mind is preoccupied such that I don't see him pull up outside our gate.

“Why are you stopping here? Just drive inside...”

He frees his seat belt and frees mine too.
He pats his lap, indicating that I should sit on it.

I do as he says and one look at his eyes, they're burning with lust.

“I need a favour from you darling...”

“What is it dear? You're making me nervous!”

“Let's go in there, get the dress you'll wear tomorrow then let's leave to my house!”

At first, I hesitate but I finally agree because I don't Want to hurt him.

We leave the car outside and get in the house.

Back in the house, Nolan kisses me immediately we close the door behind us.

“Honey... Can't you wait till we arrive at your house?”

I ask him.

“It's your house too. From today onwards, you're free to live there.”

“What about my house?”

“Your parents house...you mean?”

I slap him on the shoulder as I get the joke. He's such a funny dude.

“I can't wait to have you in my arms babe.. ”

He says as he leads me upstairs to the bedroom.
In there, he doesn't misbehave. He just holds me by the waist as he helps me pick a few clothes and we're good to go.

I give strict instruction to Paul not to open for anybody else except us. He sleeps in the servants quarters and he has all he needs from there, ranging from foodstuffs, gas and all that's
needed...
We've already locked the main house safely and we walk hand in hand towards the car, with Nolan carrying my bag....
