ALWAYS AND FOREVER

Chapter 29

Fenna

I stir, opening my eyes to a bright sunny morning....
Warm and comfortable between clean, crisp sheets, I take a moment to orientate myself and am overwhelmed by a sense of joy.
Of course, I’m on Nolan's bed...

Nolan is sitting on the edge of the bed. He strokes my cheek with
his knuckles, instantly giving me a sense of belonging....

He leans in and presses his lips to my forehead. “Good morning, Fenna,” He whispers and kisses my temple.

“Good morning Love,”

I mutter.

He’s up and dressed in a classy grey suit.

His eyes are soft and warm.

“You'll be late for work honey. Unfortunately, I won't drop you, Lucien will be waiting..”

He says.

“Honey, can't you drive me?”
I ask him, beseechingly.

“No honey, I have a meeting with a client. I'll see you over lunch..”

“Okay babe..”

He leans in for a kiss but I evade his lips, landing on my cheeks. I know I smell like shit and I don't want to kiss him. I know he understands perfectly well.

“Goodbye honey. Leah has already prepared breakfast...don't be late..”

I nod, then he turns and exits the bedroom.

I strip off my nightgown and pull a towel from the wardrobe. I throw it over my shoulders and walk to the master bathroom, stark naked.

I look at my reflection on the mirror and giggle inwardly. My face is glowing, probably due to the great sex I've been getting from my love Nolan.

I can't believe that I'm now his fiancé! Oh no!

I turn on the faucet and let the warm water cascade down my hair to my back, giving me a cooling feeling.

My thoughts wander far and wide, till I'm dome with the shower.

My phone rings as I walk outside the house towards the car, where Lucien is leaning. I tap the answer icon and Nolan's sweet, romantic voice fills my ears.

“Honey...are you in the office?”

“Not yet babe, but Vadim is holding in for me..”

I had to call Vadim to rush to the office because I knew I'll be late.
They all know I spend at Nolan's therefore they've no problem with that. Vadim was more than glad to help me out.

Mum and dad couldn't go because they're visiting their relatives in the village till the weekend.

“Good to hear that babe. Lucien will drop you in my main office. I've already instructed him. I need to show you something.”

I had almost forgotten that I was on phone with Nolan.

“But honey...”

“No buts babe...just do as I say...”

I shrug in surrender.
I know he can't see me though.

I say a forced okay and hung up.

Lucien is already holding my side of the door.

I gladly step in and sit at the passenger seat, belt up and start scrolling through my phone.

“Here we are madam...”

I tense as Lucien parks in a huge parking lot outside a huge building.

Next to us is Nolan's Lamborghini and I'm shocked because he doesn't use it oftenly. I'm sure he used it so that I may ride in the SUV with Lucien after showing interest in it.
