~Celeste's POV~
As we all got back on the bus,and Riley got on his own,I sat on my bunk collecting myself, from the awe. Xavier's performance made the whole venue seem like we were on a whole other world.
I noticed that Christian had walked over. "You okay?" He chuckled.
"Oh yea. Sorry. Xavier's performance was just... I'm just breath taken. It was otherworldly. I don't have words." I replied dreamily, hugging my pillow.
Christian sat across from me,and I caught him rolling his eyes. He looked rather upset. "You really like him a lot huh?" He asked in a sarcastic tone.
"Well... Yea.. he's a real good guy. He's great.." I stammered. "is that so bad that I like being his friend?" I asked.
He was silent for a minute. "Kras?" I asked.
"Yea. Friends. Right." He mumbled. He got up and went to the lounge. I felt tears prick my eyes,so I closed my curtain, and sat, curled up,back against the wall. I rarely cried, but I was now.
I made sure no one heard me,by putting my sweater sleeve over my hand, then putting my hand over my mouth. I bit my lip, holding back the sobs.
"Celeste! Hey where'd you go? Hello? Celeste!" I heard Jesse call through the bus.
"She's in her bunk!" Mitchel called. There was a knock on the wall beside my curtain. "Knock knock." Jesse said playfully.
He opened my curtain. "Boo!" He laughed. Then his smile quickly dropped. "Hey... What's the matter? What happened?" He asked tentatively, sitting beside me.
I cuddled up into him and just shook my head. He held me. "Okay. Okay. I've gotcha. Let it out." He murmured as he rubbed my back.
My tears soon subsided and I stopped shaking. I struggled to keep my eyes open. "You can sleep hun. We got a half hour till we arrive at my place, where we're stayin for the night." Jesse said softly.
I nodded and dozed off.
~Later~
I was woken up by being gently shaken. "Celeste. Hun,wake up li'l one." Jesse's soft voice woke me. I pushed myself to sit upright and I rubbed my eyes.
"What happened?" I murmured, trying to fix my hair.
"We're at Jesse's place.lets get you in a proper bed yea?" Xavier replied softly.
I nodded and got up. I caught myself on the wall. "Woah." I breathed.
"Easy there li'l one. I gotcha. Mitchel get her right side yea?" Jesse said.
Mitchel nodded and they helped me walk inside. Jesse carried me upstairs and tucked me into a bed. I immediately dozed off again.
~Next morning~
I woke up to the aroma of breakfast and coffee,as the sun decided to blind me. I rolled over with a long, heavy sigh, and laid there curled up for a minute longer.
When I opened my eyes again,I was greeted with someone laying beside me,facing me,but asleep. I looked up, and saw Christian's peaceful face.
I cautiously moved closer to him,and hugged him, tucking my head under his chin. I felt him stir, and he looked down at me,and his cheeks flushed to a light pink. He softly smiled, and held me.
He kissed the top of my head, then sat up. I sat up too,and he sat me on his lap so I straddled him. He combed his fingers through my hair, and caressed my face. He kissed my forehead.
"Are we okay?" I asked him softly. "We're okay." He crooned. I kissed his forehead and got out of bed. I grabbed my suitcase out from under the bed, and opened it. I grabbed a clean shirt and sweat pants.
I stripped off my shirt and put on a bra and the clean shirt. I took off my shorts and put on the sweatpants. I saw a mirror beside the dresser, and walked over to it,grabbing the hairbrush off the nightstand. I stood in front of the mirror as I brushed my hair, and Christian hugged me from behind.
He leaned his head down, brushing his lips against my neck. He kissed under my ear, then down to the crook of my neck and shoulder.
"Christian." I breathed in euphoria, setting the brush down and turning to face him,and wrapping my arms around his neck as he walked us,till my back was pressed against the wall.
