~Mitchel's POV~
"Hey,she's coming around. Kras, get Clinton. She's waking up." I said.
He ran out of the room, and a minute later, came back with Clinton. They sat beside me,and Celeste opened her eyes. She looked around the hospital room in confusion. She lifted her hands and looked at them.
"What...? Where am I?" She mumbled.
"Hey Celeste, You're in a hospital." I replied softly,to not spook her.
She looked at me quizzically for a few moments. "Mitchel? Clinton? Christian?" She asked.
"Yea,it's us hun. How are you feeling?" I replied tentatively.
"I'd like a water. Maybe... If I sit up? Or walk around the room?" She asked.
I looked at Clinton and he softly smiled. "I'll get a nurse. You hang tight." He said softly. Celeste nodded.
"Do you remember anything?" Christian asked softly. Celeste slowly sat up. "It's all really fuzzy at the moment." She replied.
Christian nodded, and Clinton walked in with a nurse.
"Oh you're up! That's so lovely to see! How you feeling?" The nurse asked,as Celeste drank the water Clinton got her.
"Um.. pretty okay.. my back just hurts a little bit,but do you think it'd be okay if I tried um.. walking around this room?" Celeste replied.
The nurse detached the machines. "Of course deary!" She beamed!
Celeste swung her legs over the side of the bed and put her feet on the floor. She looked at us. Christian walked over and held her hand. "On three okay?" He asked endearingly.
She nodded. "One... Two... Three." Christian said slowly. Celeste stood, and she took a step. She faltered, and Christian caught her. "I gotcha. It's okay." He reassured her. He helped her stand straight, and she took another step.
Success. Another. Success. A few seconds later, she was fully walking around the room. Her face lit up! She looked at me.
"I'm so proud of you." I told her. She hugged me,and I gently held her and kissed the top of her head.
"You should get dressed, then we can get you home." Clinton said. Celeste nodded. Christian handed her a bag of fresh clothes we'd brought, and the nurse escorted her to the bathroom.
After a few minutes, she walked back in. Clinton and Christian hugged her.
"Let's go home." I said."Yea. I think I need a shower!" Celeste lightly laughed. I smiled and nodded. I put my arm around her shoulders, and Clinton out his arm around her hips, and we walked out to the lobby.
Christian signed her out,and we walked out to the car. Christian drove us home.
We soon arrived and we walked in. "Pat! Jesse! We're home!" Clinton called. They ran downstairs, and they stopped when they saw Celeste.
"Celeste..." Jesse breathed in surprised awe.
"Oh my God... Celeste.." Pat Murmured in the same surprise.
"Hi Horsie. Hi Pat." Celeste said fondly. They gently hugged her. "You're home.. you're okay." Pat said softly.
"I'm home... But how long was I out in the hospital?" She asked. "Four months a week, and Two days." Jesse replied.
Celeste had a look of shock on her face. "wow.." she murmured.
"Hey um, I'm gonna shower, and then maybe we can catch up? It's a little fuzzy,so sorry if I don't remember everything." She replied.
"Yes no yea. It's okay. It's all good. You go ahead. I'll make dinner with Mitchel." Jesse replied.
She hugged him again. "hey where's the bathroom again?" She asked.
"I'll show ya." Christian replied.
She followed him to the bathroom.
After a few minutes,I walked over to the bathroom. Christian was on his phone, sat by the bathroom door.
"What are you doing?" I chuckled, sitting by him.
"She asked me to wait here." He replied.
I rested my head on his shoulder and he put his arm around my hip and kissed my forehead.
I noticed how quiet it'd gotten. "It's too quiet.." Christian said. He got up and knocked on the door. "Celeste?" He asked.
Silence. "Celeste? I'm comin in okay sweetie?" He asked. Silence. He opened the door, and Celeste was sat on the toilet, dressed, and looking at a photograph.
"Who's Xavier? Why was this in here?" She asked, looking up at us.
I looked at the photo of them kissing. Christian looked like his heart had sunk. "Um.. I think you'd better come in the living room and sit." I replied.
She followed us to the living room.
