~Jesse's POV~
Mitchel walked in and handed me a bottle of cherry soda and a pint of Rocky road ice cream and a spoon.
"What's this for?" I asked with a chuckle. "To cheer up Celeste." Mitchel replied. I fondly smiled and nodded. "alright. Thanks mate." I replied.
I went upstairs, and went up to my room. I saw Celeste laying,so her feet dangled over the side. I knocked the door, and she pressed herself up on her forearms. She took off her headphones, and I walked over and sat beside her.
"Special delivery." I said. She lightly smiled as she took them. "Thanks Jesse." She replied. She twisted off the cap of the soda and took a sip. She set it on the nightstand and opened the ice cream.
"Listen... I know this is really hard for you,and I know you lean on Mitty as a big brother figure." "But please don't forget that I'm here for you too okay? You're not a burden." I asked her.
She nodded. "I'm sorry I didn't come to you.." she murmured.
"It's perfectly okay love. It's okay. You need a brother or a guidance figure a bit more right now,and I respect that." "But I'm just saying, whenever you need anybody to lean on. If and when Mitty and Kras might be out of the house." "you have me too okay? I'll gladly help you. No matter how long it takes. I promise." I reassured her.
She hugged me tight, and I held her. "do you wanna talk about it,or be distracted?" I asked.
"Distracted please." She replied softly.
"Okay. They recently added into the spiderverse on Netflix. Do you wanna watch that?" I asked. She nodded and sat in my lap.
I pulled out my phone, and turned it on. A minute later,Mitchel came in. "Hey!" "I totally forgot I had this in the back of my car!" "For you!" He said between Huffs to catch his breath.
He held up a big, plush rabbit.
He handed it to Celeste, and she lightly smiled. "Thanks Mitty. I love it a lot." She said fondly. He nodded and went downstairs. Celeste continued watching the movie.
~Later~
After the movie ended,Celeste started nodding off. I laid her down and laid beside her so she was little spoon.
~Later~
That evening,I woke up alone, then heard singing from the bathroom. I walked over and leaned on the wall, beside the closed door.
"My room, where I want you, tangled ease in my sheets,In your shirt that I got you half asleep, holding on to me."
"My bed, where you left me,tangled up,now it's noon,In your shirt that you gave me,half asleep, wishing I still had you." "Half asleep, wishing I still had you...""This time you said,You're playing games again,What are we becoming of it now? It's fine,I said,If you're the one in my head." "'Cause I just don't know how to put you out!"
"'Cause I don't want another heart to fill the holes,That you left under my covers for me to grow cold.." "I don't wanna miss somebody who's not missing me." "But the city feels so lonely when you leave.."
"My room, where I want you, tangled ease in my sheets,In your shirt that I got you, half asleep, holding on to me."
"My bed, where you left me,tangled up,now it's noon,In your shirt that you gave me,half asleep, wishing I still had you." Celeste sang angelically.A minute later, she stepped out,and jumped then laughed when she saw me. "Jesse! You nearly gave me a heart attack!" She laughed.
She stood on her tip toes and lightly kissed me. "M'sorry angel,I didn't mean too. I was just enjoying your beautiful singing." I replied.
She smiled and blushed. "I love you." She murmured, then kissed me again. She went to our bedroom, and a minute later, she came spinning out, humming that song she'd been singing. She stumbled and I caught her.
We both laughed as I helped her to her feet. I softly kissed her. "I see you're feeling a lot better." I said fondly.
"That I am. But I think I smell dinner and I'm starving!" She beamed!
I grinned and followed her downstairs.
