Rescue (Part I)

It has been a couple of months since Y/N arrived in Konoha, the people in the village treated him equally and nicely, luckily, they didn't know about his secret on his old life as the Crimson Demon. His long dream was now complete, that is, until an Anbu ninja appeared in his house as this was happening a couple of months ago.

Anbu: Lord Hokage wants to see you.

Y/N: Well, that's new. I thought he had nothing to do with me. Tell him I'm on my way.

The Anbu ninja nodded as he disappeared, leaving Y/N looking out the window and looking at the Hokage building.

Y/N: What do you want with me now?

He said as he grabbed his keys and went out of his apartment room, he look to his right to see Minato and Kushina's apartment room still closed, knowing what happened the last couple of months must be rough on them. Y/N walked down on the stairs as he started to walk towards the Hokage's office.

A couple of moments passed and he reached the main door of the office, opening it as he walked inside and saw Sarutobi looking at him.

Y/N: You called?

Hiruzen: Yes, I wanted to discuss with you about some, things.

He said as the door closes behind Y/N and all the ninjas that are present in the room went away as the H/C haired man stood in front of his desk, looking and quite curious about what they are going to talk about.

Y/N: What are these, things you wanted to talk about?

Hiruzen: Do you remember the incident about Minato?

Y/N: Yeah, the Uchiha student died and felt like he blames himself for his lost.

Hiruzen: Yes, and the other incident?

Y/N: That other pupil who died since she possess the Three-Tailed Jinchuriki.

Hiruzen: Guess it's still fresh from your memories.

He said as he took a big puff of smoke from his pipe and blows it to the side, looking at Y/N still as he leans in his chair.

Y/N: Why are you asking me this?

Hiruzen: Apparently, Minato asked for a mission to keep his thoughts out of it, he did told Kushina about this, but he specifically said not to tell you.

Y/N: And why is that?

Hiruzen: He said he didn't want to bother you with it. The mission would last for 3 months, but so far, he isn't sending us any letters and his mission was over last month.

Y/N: He wouldn't be caught right, he would be here any second, bursting through those doors right about now.

He said as he points at the office door and it bursted wide open, but it wasn't Minato. Instead, the figure turned out to be Kushina, holding a paper as she was walking towards Hiruzen, tears were visible in her eyes.

Hiruzen: What happened?

Kushina: It's a letter from some rogue ninjas that Minato was looking out during his mission, they demand money for Minato's life.

Y/N: Shouldn't he be taking care of it? He is a strong shinobi after all.

Kushina looked at Y/N as she grabbed her from his collar as Y/N looked back.

Kushina: You don't understand, they blocked every possible exits that he can come across with. Heck, they might even drugged him before he can get out.

Y/N was very surprised at Kushina, he knew that she knew everything about Minato's mission as he looks at Hiruzen, taking his hat off as he looks back at Y/N.
