A Dying Request

As the two ninjas walking home from the ordeal that the blond haired male had endured, the sight of the village gate was in full view as the ninjas guarding their respective post saw the two of them, having Y/N's mask off of him and his clothing was now in his ninja suit, both him and Minato walked inside the village, trying to get to the hospital for Minato's aid.

Once the two of them made to the hospital, Minato was rushed in to treat his wounds by kunoichis as for Y/N he walked out of the hospital and rushed towards his and Minato's apartment complex to tell Kushina that her husband is now back in the village.

Upon arriving, he saw Kushina on the balcony, seeing the familiar figure of Y/N come to full view as Kushina hurried down, running over to him as she looked at the ninja.

Kushina: Where's Minato?

She asked as tears are forming from her eyes in worried as Y/N looked at her.

Y/N: Relax he's fine. His in the hospital, the kunoichis are tending to his injuries.

He said as Kushina was worried but thankful at the same time as she hugs Y/N tightly, having him during the worse of her time and saving his husband from trouble was a very huge help for her.

Kushina: Thank you, so, so much Y/N.

Y/N: It's fine, now go and find him, the next thing he wants to see is you and your smile Kushina.

Kushina nodded as she went to the hospital in a hurry while Y/N looked at her for a moment as her figure started to go further and further away from him.

Y/N: Those two make a very lovely couple indeed.

He said as he started to walk to his apartment and went inside, the last thing he needs is a warm bath and some rest throughout the day.

A couple of years later, Minato was now appointed as Hokage by Sarutobi making him the 4th Hokage of the village as the ceremony takes place, of course, Minato and Kushina were very happy, Y/N on the other hand was very proud at what his now considered best friend had achieved and he couldn't be more than happy about it.

Y/N: For the last time, no Minato.

Minato: Come on! It won't be that hard of a job!

Days later after the ceremony, Minato casually walked up to Y/N's apartment building since both Kushina and Minato moved out. The reason with Minato being in his friend's apartment building was: Offering his best friend a job as his assistant in being a Hokage.

Y/N: You wanted to be Hokage right, now it's time you learn responsibilites.

Minato: But paperwork...

Y/N: You're on your own right there Minato, besides, your family will get bigger due to your first born.

And by that time, Kushina was pregnant from her first child and Y/N would do anything to protect the both of them from harm, he was a ninja of Konoha after all.

Minato: Fine! But don't expect that you'll be having a nephew in the near future!

Y/N: Now that is being childish Minato.

Minato: Accept the job or you're not going to have a nephew at all.

Y/N sighed at this as he wasn't given a choice but to accept the job that he was offering him, he can't stay at home forever after all.

Y/N: Fine! But don't expect to do your paperwork.

Minato cheered as the two of them chuckled a little bit. Months later, the two of them are working hard, Minato on managing the village while Y/N ended up doing paperwork and reports. Kushina often visit the two of them, bringing them lunches to eat as they work, of course her noticeable bump wouldn't go unnoticed by the both of them.
